More particularly, the present invention relates to a modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition including 10 to 40 % by weight of a poly (arylene ether) resin, 30 to 70 % by weight of a polyamide resin, 1 to 20 % by weight of a polyolefin based resin, 1 to 10 % by weight of a compatibilizer, and 1 to 20 % by weight of an impact modifier, and a molded article manufactured using the same. The modified poly(arylene ether) resin composition according to the present invention exhibits reduction of property change due to moisture and provides low specific gravity and superior impact strength, heat resistance, and property balance.

The present invention relates to a resin film which consists of thermoplastic polyester resin containing 3 to 30% by weight of a granular resin with a grain diameter of 0.1 to 5 mu m in weight fraction in entire resin, the granular resin being modified polyolefin resin containing 2 to 20% by weight of a functional group derived from carboxylic acid in terns of carboxylic acid, a manufacturing method for the resin film, a resin laminated metal sheet using the resin film, and a manufacturing method for the resin laminated metal sheet. By using the resin film in accordance with the present invention, a resin laminated metal sheet having high formability, impact resistance, adhesion, flavor property, and retort resistance can be obtained.

A dispersion of polymer microparticles in organic liquid obtainable by a process comprising the steps of i) providing a mixture comprising a first polymer having functional groups capable of reacting with the carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid anhydride groups of a second, polypropylene polymer ii) causing the polymers to melt at a chosen temperature under conditions of high shear, preferably in an extruder, to form an intimate mixture iii) causing the carboxylic acid and/or carboxylic acid anhydride groups of the polypropylene polymer to react with at least some of the functional groups of the first polymer, under conditions of high shear, preferably in an extruder iv) diluting the resulting mixture of step iii) with an organic liquid at a temperature such that a substantially homogeneous solution is formed v) cooling the solution to a temperature whereby the polymer microparticles of the dispersion are formed.
