Abstract:
The conventional crosslinked acrylic acid fiber has such characteristics that the harmonic functions such as pH buffer property, antistatic property and water-holding property and also high moisture-absorption rate, high moisture-absorption velocity, high moisture-absorption rate difference or temperature adjusting and humidity adjusting functions derived therefrom, but there is still a problem for its dyeing property. The present invention provides a fiber having the above characteristics and making a practical dyeing with an acid dye possible. To be more specific, the present invention provides a moisture-absorptive fiber dyeable with an acid dye, comprising a region of a polymer having a functional group acting as a dyeing site for acid dye and a region of a polymer having a crosslinked structure and a carboxyl group, wherein the saturation dye uptake of the acid dye to the fiber weight is 3.5 to 10% by weight and the carboxyl group content is 1.0 to 10 mmol/g.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for coloring non-cationically modified polyacrylonitrile fibers during the spinning process when the fibers are in a gel state. The novel method is characterized in that at least one anionic colorant selected from the group of acidic, direct or reactive colorants is used and yields colorations of a large depth of shade with favorable general color fastnesses.
Abstract:
Use of the customary dyes for the type of fibre in question and using the customary dyeing and/or printing processes for the type of fibre in question for minimally reducing, retaining or increasing the NIR reflectance, preferably increasing the NIR reflectance, in the region of electromagnetic radiation of wavelength 700 nm to 1100 nm of textile material in relation to the undyed and untreated textile material, characterized in that metal-free dyes are used.

Abstract:
The invention relates to modified materials based on polyacrylonitrile having amidic groups on their surface. The modification gives the material greater hydrophilic characteristics improving its comfort properties. In addition, it permits the polyacrylonitrile to be dyed also with acidic dyes thus making it possible for it to be used for the preparation of yarns mixed with natural fibres, such as wool for example. The process for their production involves treatment of the material with enzymes of the nitrile hydratasis class obtained from Brevibacterium imperiale.
