    摘要： A fan 100 installed in a building component (window, door, wall, ceiling). The fan comprises a body having an inner spigot 300 and a concentric sleeve 110 disposed radially outer of the spigot such that air flows between the spigot and the sleeve. The spigot houses a motor 310 suitable for driving an impeller 320 and control electronics 350 suitable for controlling the motor. The fan also comprises an attachment means 140, 150 suitable for attaching the fan to the building component and a grille 165 located behind the body. The grille comprises a plurality of louvers 170 that open when the fan is in operation. The louvers may hang down in a closed position when the fan is not operated and rotated open when air is driven through the fan. The spigot may house voltage transformation electronics. The attachment mechanism may comprise an inside plate within a room and outside plate located outside the room and may clamp the building component in use.

The plurality of blades (21, 23) comprises an upper blade array (21) and a lower blade array (23), the upper blades (21) being interconnected so as to simultaneously rotate in the same direction of rotation and being pivoted in such a way as to tend, due to gravity, to assume the passage's closed configuration, and the lower blades (23) being interconnected so as to rotate simultaneously in the same direction of rotation and being pivoted in such a way as to tend, by gravity, to assume the passage's open configuration. A drive (61, 63) is furthermore provided, which connects the upper blade array (21) to the lower blade array (23) in such a way that the two blade arrays (21, 23) are opposite the direction of rotation and the tendency of the upper blades (21) to assume the closed configuration of the passage is countered by the tendency of the lower blades (23) to assume the open configuration of the passage. The return element (81) is connected to the lower blade array (23) and is arranged in such a way as to apply on the blade array (23) a moment of elastic return force that is at its maximum in the closed configuration and at its minimum in the open configuration.

    摘要： In order to provide a simple design of ventilation device which has a relatively open aperture of pleasing aesthetic appearance, there is provided a face 2 for facing into a room, the face including an aperture 3. Three closure parts 5 are provided for closing the aperture 3. The closure parts 5 are rotatably mounted adjacent to the aperture 3 about pivots 9 located around the periphery of the aperture. A drive means is provided for moving the closure parts between an open position and a closed position. A suitable fan 6 can be provided for drawing air through the aperture when the closure parts are in the open position. In a first aspect of the invention, the closure parts 5 each comprise closures surfaces having edges, the edges abutting one another in the closed position. In a second aspect of the invention, there is drive member 12 for contacting a drive part 11 of a closure part 5, the drive part 11 being located close to the pivot 9. In a third aspect of the invention, the drive means 12 is configured to act on a drive part 11 of each closure part, the pivot 9 and the drive part 11 being mounted on the same side of the closure part 5.
