摘要: A centrifugal compressor for a chiller includes a casing, an inlet guide vane, an impeller downstream of the inlet guide vane, a motor and a diffuser. The casing has inlet and outlet portions with the inlet guide vane disposed in the inlet portion. The impeller is rotatable about a rotation axis defining an axial direction. A liquid injection passage is provided to inject liquid refrigerant into an area between the impeller and the diffuser. The motor rotates the impeller. The diffuser is disposed in the outlet portion downstream from the impeller with an outlet port of the liquid injection passage being disposed between the impeller and the diffuser. A controller is programmed to control an amount of the liquid refrigerant injected into the area between the impeller and the diffuser.

摘要: A centrifugal compressor includes an impeller and a casing. The casing includes a scroll part forming a scroll flow passage on a radially outer side of the impeller and a diffuser part forming a diffuser flow passage for supplying the scroll flow passage with compressed air compressed by the impeller. The diffuser part includes: a first diffuser portion belonging to a first angular range including an angular position of a tongue section of the scroll part, of an angular range in a circumferential direction of the impeller; and a second diffuser portion belonging to a second angular range downstream of the first angular range in a flow direction of the scroll flow passage, of the angular range in the circumferential direction of the impeller, the second diffuser portion having an outer radius R2 which is defined along a reference circle centered at a rotational center of the impeller. An outer radius R1 of the first diffuser portion in the first angular range is smaller than the outer radius R2 of the second diffuser portion in the second angular range.

摘要: An air blowing device includes a motor, a ring-shaped cover, an impeller, and an impeller housing. The impeller includes a base portion and moving blades. The impeller housing includes an exhaust air guide portion that extends toward an outer side in the radial direction and toward a lower side, at a side further outward from an outer edge of the impeller in the radial direction. The ring-shaped cover includes a ring-shaped cover upper face portion that faces the base portion in the axial direction, and a ring-shaped cover outer edge portion that is positioned further on the outer side from the outer edge of the impeller in the radial direction. An outer face of the ring-shaped cover outer edge portion and an inner face of the exhaust air guide portion are disposed across a gap, and the gap configures a flow path through which a fluid flowing in from the impeller is guided. The gap has a first width where a distance between the outer face of the ring-shaped cover outer edge portion and the inner face of the exhaust air guide portion is shortest, in a region further to the outer side from the radial-direction inner edge of the ring-shaped cover outer edge portion and further to the inner side from the radial-direction outer edge of the ring-shaped cover outer edge portion. The first width is smaller than a flow-in opening width where the fluid flows into the gap and a flow-out opening width where the fluid flows out from the gap, which are the gap.
