    摘要: The invention relates to a wind turbine rotor blade (5) comprising a blade tip (10) and a lightning protection system. The rotor blade includes at least one lightning receptor (7) at the surface of the blade in an external distance (Lex) from the distal end of the blade tip (10), and a lightning receptor base (11) inside the rotor blade (5) arranged at an first internal distance (Lj1) from the distal end of the blade tip (10). To avoid arching from the blade surface (18), to the lightning receptor base (11) if the lightning does not strike the receptor (7), the rotor blade further includes means (22a) for changing at least one electric property of the rotor blade (5) at the lightning receptor base (11), as compared to the electric properties of ambient air. These means are filling a part of the blade with e.g. polyurethane. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a wind turbine rotor blade (5).

    摘要: Provided is a low friction, self-lubricating sleeve (104) for use with a reciprocating piston (102) in the compressor (100) and/or the expander subsystem of a cryogenic cooler or other compressor type system. The sleeve is bonded to an outer surface of the piston, thereby positioning the sleeve between the piston and an inner wall (110) of a piston cylinder (106) . The sleeve is manufactured using a polyetheretherketone base material, as well as varying percentages of carbon and/or polytetraf luoroethylene fillers. The sleeve may include a dry lubricant such as graphite or molybdenum disulfide, and may extend for all or part of the length of the piston. The sleeve demonstrates negligible wear over thousands of hours of use in the cryogenic cooler, thereby minimizing system gas blow-back and maximizing system efficiency/performance .

Improvement of friction-reducing properties is achieved by injection molding a composite material on the surface of at least one of the two parts, wherein the composite comprises a basic polymer resin, preferably PEEK, and ceramic filler particles, the particles having a dimension of up to 1 μm. The friction-reducing surface treatment may be utilised for any parts in relative motion in the water-hydraulic machine, such as cyilnder liner, sliding shoe for swash plates, wear rings in general or bearing surfaces. With such a design the wear in case of a water-hydraulic machine should be kept low.

    摘要: The invention is applied to a compressor assembly wherein a coating (42) is applied to the pocket in the piston for sliding engagement with a shoe for reciprocating the piston. The coating is a composite of solid particles of a lubricant, suspended in an adhesive, bonded to the to the aluminum alloy defining the pocket (38). More specifically, the coating (42) comprises particles of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) suspended in an epoxy resin having a low cross-linking characteristic. The particles of PTFE are sub-micron in size and the ratio of PTFE to epoxy resin is optimally one to one. The thickness of the coating (42) is between two and ten microns and preferably substantially four microns.
