Die Stange (24) erstreckt sich zumindest abschnittsweise durch einen Pilotraum (32), der fluidisch mit dem zumindest einen Pilotventil (72, 74) koppelbar ist, um gegen eine vom Vorspannelement (28) aufgebrachte Vorspannkraft ein unter Druck stehendes Pilotfluid in den Pilotraum (32) einzuleiten oder um das Pilotfluid aus dem Pilotraum (32) abzuleiten. Der Wegsensor (48) dient zur Erfassung eines Ventilzustands des Regelventils (12, 112) und zur Bereitstellung eines Wegsignals (54). Der Drucksensor (50) dient zur Erfassung eines aktuellen Drucks im Pilotraum (32) und zur Bereitstellung eines Drucksignals (56). Die Pilotsteuereinheit (38) ist dazu ausgebildet, das Wegsignal (54) und das Drucksignal (56) auszuwerten, um das zumindest eine Pilotventil (72, 74) anzusteuern. Ein Verfahren nutzt eine solche Vorrichtung (10, 110).

The supply for the second fluid passes through the heat exchanger (28). A valve (30) is positioned upstream of the said heat exchanger (28) on the supply for the second fluid, and controls a flow rate of the second fluid diverted into a bypass line (32) compared to a flow rate of the second fluid directed through the heat exchanger (28), with the three-way valve (30) controlled by a control in response to feedback from said temperature sensor (30). The valve (30) changes the respective flow rates delivered into the bypass line (32) and through the said heat exchanger (28) in a non-linear manner with a change in valve position.
