摘要: Kalt-Schmelz-Tiegel zum Schmelzen kleiner Metallmengen in der Schwebe. Der Tiegel enthält in seinem oberen Teil die Tiegelmulde und ist mit seinem Basisteil an eine Unterdruckleitung oder eine entsprechende Unterdruckapparatur anflanschbar. Die Tiegelmulde besteht aus entsprechend geformten und durch Schlitze voneinander getrennten Wandsegmenten (1), in denen Kühlkanäle (7) verlaufen. In diesen sind vom Basisteil (2) ausgehend Zuführungsleitungen eingebracht. Das Kühlmittel wird über das Basisteil (2) eingespeist und abgezogen. Ziel der Erfindung ist ein reparaturfreundlicher Tiegel mit einem gegenüber dem Stand der Technik verbesserten Kühlsystem. Dies wird durch ein aus Einzelwandsegmenten (1) gebildetes oberes Teil, ein aus den Ableitungsrohren (8,9) bestehendes Zwischenteil und ein Basisteil (2) erreicht, in dem die Kühlmittelleitungen ringförmig angeordnet sind, von denen aus die Zu- und Ableitungsrohre (9) in ringförmiger Anordnung aus dem Basisteil (2) herausragen.

摘要: In production of a reactive metal using a melting furnace for producing metal having a hearth, ingots can be efficiently produced by efficiently cooling the ingots extracted from the mold provided in the melting furnace. In addition, an apparatus structure in which multiple ingots can be produced with high efficiency and high quality from one hearth, is provided. A melting furnace for producing metal is provided, the furnace has a hearth for having molten metal formed by melting raw material, a mold in which the molten metal is poured, an extracting jig which is provided below the mold for extracting ingot cooled and solidified downwardly, a cooling member for cooling the ingot extracted downwardly of the mold, and an outer case for keeping the hearth, the mold, the extracting jig, and the cooling member separated from the air, wherein at least one mold and extracting jig are provided in the outer case, and the cooling member is provided between the outer case and the ingot, or between the multiple ingots.

摘要: Apparatus for desulfurizing and heating molten metal includes a refractory body having an open top receptacle, an outlet and a passageway communicating the receptacle with the outlet. An electric coil is disposed in surrounding relation to the receptacle. The upper end of the coil is disposed generally equal to the level of the molten metal in the receptacle. The molten metal is supplied to the receptacle through a first feed member, and a desulfurizing agent is supplied to the receptacle through a second feed member. Upon excitation of the coil, electric currents are induced in the molten metal to heat it and also to agitate it to mix the desulfurizing agent with the molten metal.
