Additionally provided is a manufacturing method of a molybdenum oxychloride including the steps of reacting MoOs and Cl 2 and synthesizing the molybdenum oxychloride in a reaction chamber, and cooling the synthesized molybdenum oxychloride gas and precipitating the molybdenum oxychloride in a recovery chamber, wherein an impurity trap is provided between the reaction chamber and the recovery chamber, and impurities are removed with the impurity trap. An object of the present invention is to provide a high-purity molybdenum oxychloride and a manufacturing method therefor.

    摘要: A rare earth metal recovery apparatus and a rare earth metal recovery method, each of which can recover a rare earth metal from a rare earth magnet and enabled the extraction of the rare earth metal from the rare earth magnet with molten magnesium, the separation between magnesium having the extracted rare earth metal contained therein and a residual component, i.e., a Fe-B alloy, of the rare earth magnet, the separation of the magnesium having the extracted rare earth metal contained therein into the rare earth metal and magnesium, and the purification/reuse of the magnesium. The recovery apparatus comprises a rare earth metal extraction reaction vessel and a magnesium collection vessel, wherein the rare earth metal is extracted from the magnet having the rare earth metal contained therein into the molten liquid magnesium in the rare earth metal extraction reaction vessel, the magnet from which the rare earth metal has been extracted and the liquid magnesium which has the rare earth metal dissolved therein are separated from each other, the magnesium is vaporized from the liquid magnesium having the separated rare earth metal contained therein, and the vaporized magnesium is transferred into the magnesium collection vessel, thereby recovering the rare earth metal and the magnesium.

The method for producing a potassium titanate includes: a mixing step that mixes a titanium raw material with a potassium raw material, the titanium raw material including 0 to 60 mass% of titanium oxide having a specific surface area of 1 to 2 m 2 /g, 40 to 100 mass% of titanium oxide having a specific surface area of 7 to 200 m 2 /g, and 0 to 4.5 mass% in total of one or more materials selected from titanium metal and titanium hydride, and the potassium raw material including a potassium compound; a calcination step that calcines a raw material mixture obtained by the mixing step at a calcination temperature of 950 to 990°C; and a grinding step that grinds a calcined powder obtained by the calcination step using one or more means selected from a vibrating mill and an impact pulverizer.
