A melting furnace for producing metal is provided, the furnace has a hearth for having molten metal formed by melting raw material, a mold in which the molten metal is poured, an extracting jig which is provided below the mold for extracting ingot cooled and solidified downwardly, a cooling member for cooling the ingot extracted downwardly of the mold, and an outer case for keeping the hearth, the mold, the extracting jig, and the cooling member separated from the air, wherein at least one mold and extracting jig are provided in the outer case, and the cooling member is provided between the outer case and the ingot, or between the multiple ingots.

A method for recycling noble metals from electronic waste materials and apparatus thereof. The method comprises the following steps: mechanically breaking up the electronic waste materials; removing rubber and plastic materials by electrostatic separation; removing ferromagnetic metals by magnetic separation; removing residual rubber and plastic materials by microwave pyrolysis; removing low-melting-point metals by indirectly heating using microwave; separating the noble metals from one another in turn from low-melting-point metal to high-melting-point metal for recycle. The apparatus includes a microwave housing. A filtering screen is positioned on the inside wall of the housing horizontally, and vertically-arranged and open-ended heating pipes are positioned over the filtering screen. The method and apparatus can adequately recycle resources in the electronic waste materials.

It was learned that in an insulation heating coil used for continuously heating a running steel sheet, the conventional insulated structure of the induction heating coil was selected focusing on the heat resistance and insulation ability of the insulation itself and cannot prevent a drop in insulation ability due to entry of fine metal particles (for example, zinc fumes) in the surroundings. Therefore, an insulated structure of induction heating coil preventing the entry of zinc fumes and other fine metal particles, not falling in strength even in a high temperature environment, and able to extend the service life of the induction coil is provided. Specifically, the surface of the induction heating coil is covered with a ceramic cloth made of alumina-silica ceramic long-fibers not containing boron and the surface of that is formed with a heat-resistant insulation layer made of a surface hardening ceramic material containing alumina or alumina-silica fine particles and alumina-silica ceramic short-fibers.
