    摘要: There is disclosed a silver halide color photographic material which comprises a hydrophilic colloid layer, on a paper base, containing a compound selected from the group consisting of sparingly water-soluble epoxy compounds represented by formula (I), (II), or (III) given below and a dye-forming coupler in a layer on a base wherein the pH of raw paper is 5 to 9.

    Z is a non-metallic group which, together with the nitrogen and carbon atoms to which it is attached, forms a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring; X is hydrogen or a substituent capable of being split off upon reaction with an oxidation product of a color developing agent; and R is hydrogen or a substituent; at least one compound of formula [XII],
