摘要： This invention relates to an apparatus for assembling roof trusses. Known apparatus suffer from the drawbacks that the erection or preparing of an assembly jig before truss fabrication can begin is cumbersome and time consuming. The above problems are solved by providing a multi-section assembly table with narrow, parallel, elongated openings (20, 20a, 20b, 20c, 26, 27, 28, 29) in each section. Jig stops (31, 32, 33, 34) are individually adjustable along these openings (20-29) by respective lead screws (51) driven by stepper motors (47). The motors (47) are controlled from a computer (132) to automatically position the jig stops (31-34) in accordance with a particular truss design. The apparatus has conveyor roller carriers (61) between the sections of the assembly table which are raised to lift a completed truss up from the table, so that it can be slid off the table.

摘要： L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif servant à assembler des charpentes de toit. Les dispositifs connus présentent l'inconvénient de la préparation ou de la construction d'un montage d'assemblage avant la fabrication de la charpente, ce qui pose des problèmes d'encombrement et de temps. Une solution leur est apportée au moyen d'une table d'assemblage comportant des sections multiples, dont chacune est pourvue d'ouvertures étroites, parallèles et allongées (20, 20a, 20b, 20c, 26, 27, 28, 29). Des butées (31, 32, 33, 34) sont réglables individuellement le long desdites ouvertures (20-29) au moyen de tiges filtées respectives (51) actionnées par des moteurs pas à pas (47). Ces moteurs (45) sont commandés à partir d'un ordinateur (132), de façon à positionner automatiquement les butées (31-34) en fonction de la conception particulière d'une charpente. Le dispositif possède des supports de rouleau transporteur (61) situés entre les sections de la table d'assemblage et qui s'élèvent, de façon à soulever une charpente finie de la table, afin de la faire glisser hors de ladite table.
