摘要: An autonomous mobile robot includes a chassis, a drive supporting the chassis above a floor surface in a home and configured to move the chassis across the floor surface, a variable height member being coupled to the chassis and being vertically extendible, a camera supported by the variable height member, and a controller. The controller is configured to operate the drive to navigate the robot to locations within the home and to adjust a height of the variable height member upon reaching a first of the locations. The controller is also configured to, while the variable height member is at the adjusted height, operate the camera to capture digital imagery of the home at the first of the locations.

A computing device can determine a first map that includes features located at first positions and semantic labels located at semantic positions, and determine a second map that includes at least some of the features located at second positions. The computing device can identify a second region with moved features located at first positions and corresponding non-equivalent second positions. The computing device can determine one or more transformations between first positions and second positions. The computing device can assign the semantic labels to the second map at second semantic positions, where the second semantic positions are the same in the first region, and where the second semantic positions in the second region are based on the transformation(s).

摘要: The invention discloses a self-moving robot, comprising a light emitter, emitting light in a specific wavelength range to the ground; an image capturing device, matched with the light emitter to receive the light in a specific wavelength range to form an image based on the light in a specific wavelength range; and the controller comprises a ground type recognizing module, which extracts features in the image to recognize the ground type in the image. By disposing the light emitter and the image capturing device which are matched to emit and receive the light in a specific wavelength range, an influence of the ambient light on the image is reduced, such that the self-moving robot can accurately recognize the ground type at every moment and in every location, even at night when there is no light source.
