Abstract:
A hospital bed is configured to monitor data from a second patient support based on the one or more alarms set by the user. The hospital bed detects whether an alarm triggering event occurred based on the monitored data. In response to a determination that the alarm triggering event occurred, the hospital bed will provide a signal indicative of the alarm triggering event to a nurse call system.
Abstract:
A hospital bed (120) is configured to monitor data from a second patient support based on the one or more alarms set by the user. The hospital bed detects whether an alarm triggering event occurred based on the monitored data. In response to a determination that the alarm triggering event occurred, the hospital bed will provide a signal indicative of the alarm triggering event to a nurse call system.
Abstract:
In an example implementation, a method of tracking a mobile device includes determining by a tracked device, that a pairing status between the tracked device and a command device has changed from a paired status to an unpaired status. A timer is started on the tracked device in response to determining the unpaired status, and in response to the timer reaching a threshold time, a distress packet is transmitted from the tracked device that indicates the tracked device is lost.
Abstract:
Provided are an alarming method and device. The method includes that: when wireless equipment determines that information, stored in the wireless equipment, of at least one terminal disappears from a connected equipment list, the wireless equipment enters an alert state, wherein the wireless equipment is arranged to access a communication network, terminals access the communication network through the wireless equipment and the connected equipment list records information of all terminals connected to the wireless equipment (S102); and the wireless equipment entering the alert state gives an alarm when a preset condition is met, wherein the preset condition includes that: it is recorded in the connected equipment list that there are still one or more terminals connected with the wireless equipment, and/or, the wireless equipment enters or is in a charging mode (S104). By the method, the problem that Ufi equipment has not yet been applied to a vehicle in the related art is solved, and Ufi equipment is applied to a vehicle and value-added services are provided, thus improving user experiences.
Abstract:
Methods, a user equipment, a server host, a client application, computer program products, and a server computer program. Short or middle range capabilities are activated at a user device, in case such capabilities are not already active, in response to receiving a first message initiated at the property device via a wireless wide range connection, and a response message, indicating that the short or middle range capabilities of the user device are active, is transmitted to the property device, via a wireless wide range connection. In response to receiving a second message initiated at the property device and indicating a failed scanning for the user device by the property device via a wireless wide range connection, an alarm indicating movement of the property device and that the property device is located out of range for the short or middle range capabilities of the user device is activated at the user device. At the property device, either one or two failed scanning processes triggers the property device to initiate alarm activation at the user device
Abstract:
A remote alarm for use with a wearable medical device. The remote alarm is configured to receive alarms, voice messages and prompts issued by the wearable medical device and to repeat those alarms, voice messages and prompts in a manner that can more easily be perceived by a patient wearing the wearable medical device or a bystander. The remote alarm can be configured to receive a communication from the wearable medical device, and in response, to identify one or more messages to be provided to the patient or a bystander. The messages may be provided audibly, visually, tactilely or combinations thereof. The remote alarm may further be configured to take certain actions depending upon the content of the communication, such as sending a telephone message to alert emergency personnel to the identity, location and medical condition of the patient, or sending an email.
Abstract:
A method for a device to determine that it has been lost is provided. The method comprises the device determining its current location, the device comparing its current location to a plurality of stored locations, and the device determining that it has been lost when its current location is a stored location that has been designated as a location where the device is unlikely to be located or is not a stored location that has been designated as a location where the device is likely to be located.
