Disclosed are a scrambling transmission method and device thereof. The method comprises: a user terminal generates the message to be sent and modulates the message to be sent to generate the data modulation symbols; the user terminal scrambles the data modulation symbol using the cell-specific scrambling sequence, to generate the scrambled data modulation symbols; and the user terminal sending the scrambled data modulation symbols via a DFT-S-OFDM transmission structure with a time domain spreading. The present invention can reduce the interference among different user terminal data on the same resource in adjacent cells, thus improve the detection performance of uplink control signals.

The method may include receiving the ciphered OTA message; deciphering the OTA message; and reading a counter field of padding bytes in the deciphered OTA message and reading corresponding padding bytes in the OTA message deciphered. The method may also include detecting at least one bit in at least one of the padding bytes of the OTA message deciphered, with the at least one bit being indicative of the wrong ciphering.

Disclosed is a method for protecting message data. In the method, the message data is compressed to generate compressed data comprising a first number of data bytes. The compressed data is padded to generate padded compressed data comprising a second number of data bytes. The second number is equal to the first number plus a pad number of data bytes, and the pad number of data bytes is determined based on a hash of the message data. The padded compressed data is encrypted to generate encrypted message data.

There are provided a stirring processing section performing a data stirring process on input data; and a compression processing section performing a data compression process on input data including data segments which are divisions of message data, the message data being a target of a data conversion. Part of multi-stage compression subsections is configured to perform a data compression process based on both of output of the stirring processing section and the data segments in the message data. This communication system ensures the security of a communication message with a low computational load. Communication units (10, 20) are capable of exchanging a communication message containing a check bit. The check bit is used to determine the reliability of the communication message. Communication unit (10), which transmits the communication message, is equipped with a storage position determination part (31). The storage position determination part determines one of multiple positions within the communication message where the check bit can be stored as a storage position (P1, P2, P3). The communication unit generates a communication message with the check bit stored at the storage position and transmits the communication message. Communication unit (20), which receives the communication message, is equipped with a storage position determination part (41). The storage position determination part determines the storage position of the check bit in the communication message in accordance with the manner the storage position was determined. The communication unit obtains the check bit on the basis of the determination result in order to determine the reliability of the communication message.
