Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a data synchronization method, UDM, and a computer-readable storage medium, wherein the data synchronization method is applied to first UDM, and the first UDM is communicatively connected to second UDM. The data synchronization method comprises: determining, from subscription data, target synchronization data belonging to second UDM (S110); and sending the target synchronization data to the second UDM, such that the second UDM performs data synchronization according to the target synchronization data (S120).
Abstract:
A set of demands on a communication network between a source node and a terminal node can be packed into a set of packages. Each package can be associated with a corresponding transceiver type. The packing of the set of demands into the set of packages can be performed using a heuristic method or a dynamic programming method. The packing of the set of demands can depend on the costs associated with each package. Multiple packings can be generated using different packing conditions. One of the multiple packings can then be selected. The communication network can be configured to satisfy each package using a transceiver of the corresponding transceiver type.
Abstract:
A method is disclosed for automatically configuring network devices of a data network having at least two configurable network devices, whose configuration parameters are deployable over the data network to the configurable network devices from an initial configuration state to a desired configuration state. At least one of the configurable network devices is from a first type of network devices, whose configuration requires a pre-defined series of at least one intermediate configuration state. A central deployment network device determines the actual state of each configurable network device for comparing with desired states of the configurable network devices, and in case of a difference, determines a subsequent intermediate and or respective subsequent desired configuration state wherein actual states of the configurable network devices are considered.
Abstract:
A method and system is implemented in a network node that functions as a controller for a domain in a split architecture network. The domain comprises a plurality of flow switches, where the plurality of flow switches implement a data plane for the split architecture network and the controller implements a control plane for the split architecture network that is remote from the data plane. The method and system configure the plurality of flow switches to efficiently handle each type of broadcast packet in the domain of the split architecture network without flooding the domain with the broadcast packets to thereby reduce a number of broadcast packets forwarded within the domain.
Abstract:
Described is a method performed by a downloadable agent, the method comprising: collecting WAN performance information, wherein the downloadable agent is executable on a computing device coupled to a LAN of a broadband subscriber, wherein the LAN is coupled by another device to a WAN; and transmitting the WAN performance information to a machine; wherein the machine is operable to: store and analyze the performance information to generate an analysis result; and report the analysis result to at least one of the broadband subscriber and its service provider. Described is a corresponding system which comprises a database; and a server coupled to the database, the server operable to: receive WAN performance information from a downloadable agent; store the information in the database, analyze the information to generate an analysis result; and report the analysis result to at least one of the broadband subscriber and the broadband subscriber's service provider.
Abstract:
Implementations described and claimed herein providing systems and methods for modeling and visualizing interconnection relationships between a first provider network and a partner. In one implementation, a partner of a provider network is defined by at least one interconnection point where network traffic may be exchanged between the provider network and the partner. An interconnection relationship is generated based on the at least one interconnection point. The interconnection relationship is modeled.
Abstract:
A method, in a network management system, NMS, for evaluating a network configuration of a communication network, comprising: allowing a network administrator (9) to define (1) a network configuration; retrieving (2, 4, 6) parameters related to said network configuration; producing (7) a performance metric of said network configuration from said retrieved parameters; and displaying (8) said performance metric to the network administrator (9).
Abstract:
A method and device for configuring configuration data of user access network, the method includes that: connectivity session location and repository function CLF receives a message, the message carrying a configuration information identification; the CLF searches the configuration information corresponding to the configuration information identification according to the configuration information identification in the message.
