摘要: A receiver device having a processor, memories, descrambler and decoders modules configured to produce a sequence of elementary media content packets. The receiver device further comprises a marker unit configured to mark data in the sequence of elementary media content packets according to a pattern defined by an internal parameter associated to the receiving device. The marker unit is configured to determine, in the sequence of elementary media content packets at least one segment of a predetermined length and starting at a predetermined position in the sequence, to divide the segment into a predetermined number of contiguous windows including data of all or part of at least one elementary media content packet. Each window in the segment defined in the sequence of elementary media content packets is indexed by an index defining a position of a window in the segment. The marker unit codes the internal parameter by applying a mathematical transformation function, obtaining a resulting bits string, calculates position indices of a predetermined number of windows on the basis of all or a portion of the resulting bits string, said predetermined number of windows being lower than the number of windows in the segment, and modifies data in the windows designated by the calculated position indices. The windows including modified data and the windows including original data from within the segment of elementary media content packets a unique pattern representing the internal parameter associated to the receiving device.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for managing received data by a client device and indicating data removal management by a server. A method for managing received data by a client device includes receiving a message including information about a number of modes for removal of the data from a buffer at the client. The method also includes selecting a mode for removal of the data from the buffer with a maximum required buffer size among the modes indicated by the information about the modes in the received message and removing the data from the buffer based on the identified mode. A method for indicating data removal management by a server includes generating and sending a message including information about a number of modes for removal of received data from a buffer at a client device. The information indicates, for each of the modes, a type of mode for removal of the data.

摘要: Systems, methods, devices, and non-transitory media of the various embodiments facilitate real time playback of a digital broadcast by enabling reduction of the amount of time a receiver device's low power mode interface with a separate computing device operates in an operational/high power mode. The receiver device may associate a stream of media packets of a digital broadcast with system time clock timestamps indicating when the media packets were received, and store the media packets in a temporary packet buffer. Periodically, a media packet burst stored in the temporary packet buffer may be sent to the separate computing device via a low power mode interface operating in an operational/high-power mode different than a low power mode. The low power mode interface may be returned to the low-power mode until the next burst of packets is sent to the separate computing device.
