The method includes: obtaining, by a bandwidth control device, an access request of a mobile terminal, where the access request is used to indicate that the mobile terminal requests to access the Internet by using a home gateway of a fixed terminal; obtaining, by the bandwidth control device, a first bandwidth of the fixed terminal, where the first bandwidth is a subscribed bandwidth of the fixed terminal; and adjusting, by the bandwidth control device, a bandwidth allocated to the fixed terminal to a second bandwidth, where the second bandwidth is greater than the first bandwidth. In the embodiments of the present invention, the impact of mobile terminal access on user experience of the fixed terminal can be reduced.

    Abstract: To find a D2D channel, by example a shared channel for offload traffic from an allocated D2D channel, a cellular network access node sends a configuration message with parameters (e.g., sensing time, frequency band, sensing mechanism, cyclic shift) for a D2D device to sense spectrum. From results of this spectrum sensing is decided whether to utilize a frequency band, sensed according to the parameters, for D2D communications. In an embodiment the network selects a subframe configuration to set the sensing time, in which different subframe configurations have different-length guard periods which is the sensing time. In embodiments a first sensing is within a guard period and represents coarse sensing results and if those are not sufficient the network configures a longer sensing time (e.g., spanning multiple subframes) for finer sensing results. The network or alternatively the D2D device decides whether to use the sensed frequency band for offload traffic.

    Abstract: A communications terminal communicates data to and from a mobile communications network.     Abstract: There is discussed a method of transmitting data from a first network device to a second network device using a plurality of network links. The method comprises the first network device sending first data to the second network device over a first network link at a first transmission time and sending second data to the second network device over a second network link at a second transmission time. The first network device receives from the second network device an indication of the time difference between reception of the first data over the first network link and reception of the second data over the second network link. The first network device then calculates a propagation time difference between the time taken for the first data to reach the second network device over the first network link and the second data to reach the second network device over the second network link using the received time difference indication and the first and second transmission times, and determines a network link configuration and data sending order using the calculated propagation time difference.
