In one embodiment, a method for managing the collection of weather information comprises: determining whether or not a weather data processing system is in a state open to receiving weather information; communicating to a first aircraft when the weather data processing system is in a state open to receiving weather information; and upon receiving weather information at the weather data processing system from the first aircraft, transmitting a signal indicating that the weather data processing system is not in a state open to receiving weather information.

An approach is provided for providing contemporaneous traces of user movement for algorithms and methods of location-based applications and/or services. The location traces platform determines a request, from one or more applications, for location information associated with at least one device. The location traces platform determines one or more location traces associated with the at least one device, wherein the one or more location traces represent at least a portion of a movement history associated with the at least one device. The location traces platform causes, at least in part, a return of the one or more location traces, one or more service parameters, one or more service suggestions, or a combination thereof to the one or more applications in response to the request.

A problem to be solved is to provide a system including a console function enabling a sensor node on an outer surface of which a switch and the like are absent to be manipulated without degrading environmental resistance while making use of the intuitional properties of an operator being immediately in front of the sensor node. A problem to be solved is to also enable a sensor node to be appropriately selected, and allow incorrect manipulation to be prevented by allowing the system to operate only when permission is granted. Provided is the system including, as components: a sensor node that includes a sensor unit including power supply means, an RFID tag, authentication means that performs authentication of a telegram written in the RFID tag, and stop instruction means that sends a stop command to the power supply means when the authentication fails, and that is enclosed in a weather-resistant case; and a user terminal that includes storage means in which the telegram is stored, and an RFID reader/writer.

The present invention provides a method for transmission of a images and/or video over bandwidth limited transmission channels having varying available bandwidth, which method comprises the use of a classification algorithm for decomposing the images and/or video to be transmitted into multiple spatial areas, each area having a specific image type; detecting the image type of each of those areas separately selecting for each of those areas an image and/or video encoding algorithm having a compression ratio. The classification algorithm prioritizes each of the areas, the classification algorithm increasing the compression ratio of the image and/or video encoding algorithm dedicated to spatial areas having lower priority in case of decreasing bandwidth.

The present invention discloses an indoor positioning method and apparatus. The method includes: acquiring current cell signal strength information of a terminal located indoors; determining, according to three-dimensional 3D indoor positioning matching information, horizontal position information and height information of an indoor grid that are corresponding to the current cell signal strength information, where the 3D indoor positioning matching information includes a correspondence between cell signal strength information of the indoor grid and the horizontal position information and the height information of the indoor grid; and determining, according to the horizontal position information and the height information of the indoor grid that are corresponding to the current cell signal strength information, a horizontal position at which the terminal is located indoors and a height at which the terminal is located. According to the indoor positioning method and apparatus in the embodiments of the present invention, current cell signal strength information of a terminal is matched with cell signal strength information in three-dimensional 3D indoor positioning matching information to determine a horizontal position and a height at which the terminal is located indoors. In this way, high-accuracy 3D indoor positioning can be implemented.

The delivery of content across a wireless communication link (25) is based on a mobility state associated (110) with a wireless transceiver. The system employs pricing tiers, which represent each subscriber's mobility-based privileges to specific content. That is, a mobile user can be charged a premium to maintain the same quality of service as a stationary user. The impact of mobility is thus felt by the mobile subscriber, either by experiencing reduced bandwidth or through higher subscription fees. By limited content delivery, the impact of motion and similar phenomenon on the wireless resources as a whole can be reduced.

Object Standardization of communication between pieces of UE operating as an uncrewed aerial vehicle, UAV, a UAV controller, and an area airspace manager, AAM, using the 5G System, 5GS, has been promoted. On the other hand, a communication procedure between pieces of user equipment, UE, and behaviors thereof operating as a UAV, a UAV-C, and an AAM in a case that the UAV does not support a Detect-And-Avoid, DAA, function are not clarified. Solution Provided are a technique for UE operating as an AAM to receive information about DAA support of a UAV transmitted from the UAV or a network, and a technique to perform appropriate processing of establishing a direct communication path for DAA with the UAV based on the reception of the information.

The present disclosure relates to a plant cultivator and method for linking plant cultivation between a plurality of plant cultivators, and a mobile terminal device, server, system, and program therefor. For this purpose, the plant cultivator linked to plant cultivation of the present disclosure identifies the detachment of the cultivation port part when the detachable or attachable cultivation port part is detached from the plant cultivator, and obtains the identifier for the detached cultivation port part to transmit it to the mobile terminal device. Therefore, the present disclosure can improve the management convenience of plant cultivation.
