    摘要： A door lever assembly for disengaging an unlocked latch of a lockable door latch assembly includes a lever handle (12) rotatably connected to a trim housing (16) and a cam (42) operably connected to the lever handle. The cam is positioned to rotate in response to rotation of the lever handle, converting its rotational movement to linear movement of a movable slider (30) positioned adjacent to the cam. A lift arm (24) is operably connected to vertical rods (62) of the door latch assembly and an over-ride spring (20) is connected between the slider and the lift arm. The over-ride spring (20) transmits motion of the slider to the lift arm to lift the lift arm and the connected vertical rods when the door latch assembly is in an unlocked position. The over-ride spring compresses in response to slider movement when a blocking slide (45) is positioned to block movement of the lift arm when the door latch assembly is in its locked position, preventing damage to components of the door lever assembly.

    摘要： A key-in-lever type door lock which can be installed on either a left hand or right hand door by a left-right reverse operation of a reverse plate (48, 48'). The lock comprises a lock assembly which regulates a uni-directional, 45-degree rotation of a handle (24, 34) thereof and a latch assembly which converts the 45-degree rotational movement to a retraction of a latch bolt (90). The look is jimmy-proof, i.e., secure against improper manipulation, by the provision of a latch stop (86) pivoted to the latch bolt (90) and being movable together therewith. The latch stop (86), which has a catch end (862) normally blocked by a retaining plate (82), is operationally pivotable about the latch bolt (90) to release the blockage, thereby permitting a relative sliding movement between the latch stop (86) and the retaining plate (82).

An axially movable square section spindle (16) extends through complementary holes in both members. In an engaged position, the spindle operates both members when rotated. In a disengaged position, a circular section portion (34) of the spindle registers with a hole in one of the members (22). In the disengaged position the bolt can be operated by the first member (20) even though the second member may be prevented from rotating by means of pins(28). The spindle (16) can be moved between engaged and disengaged positions by a push-rod extending out of the door. Thus, when the second member is locked it may be overridden by actuation of the rod and the first member.
