    摘要： A lock assembly that has a locked state and an unlocked state. The lock assembly includes a latch assembly that has a latch and a clutch mechanism. The clutch mechanism includes a first retractor that is movable in response to movement of an interior handle assembly and selectively in response to movement of the exterior handle assembly, and a second retractor that is movable in response to movement of the interior handle assembly and the exterior handle assembly. The first retractor is always engaged with the latch assembly to move the latch between the extended position and the retracted position. The second retractor is selectively disengaged from the latch assembly and is movable relative to the first retractor when the lock assembly is in the locked state.

There is provided a lock cylinder (114; 214; 314; 414; 514; 614; 714) adapted for fitment into the lock housing (12), the lock cylinder comprising a key-operated locking part and an actuator (50), the lock cylinder having a predetermined profile for most of its length, and a securing part (70; 72,74; 76,78; 80,82; 170,172; 270,272; 370) projecting from the predetermined profile. The securing part is adapted to lie underneath a part of the lock assembly in use, such as a face plate of an operating handle of the lock assembly, so that the securing part prevents unauthorised removal of the lock cylinder through the face plate.

    摘要： A deadbolt door lock assembly operates a deadbolt between an unlocked and locked position. It generally comprises an actuator, a ring, and a biasing member. The ring contacts the actuator and rotates it in either a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction to lock the deadbolt. Once the deadbolt is locked, the biasing member urges the ring out of contact with the actuator. In one aspect, the assembly is operable in either the clockwise or counter-clockwise direction without disconnecting the biasing member. In another aspect, the biasing member includes different portions to urge the ring out of contact with the actuator depending on whether ring operation is in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. The assembly may include a backstop to indicate rotational direction of the ring to lock the deadbolt. The assembly may also include a stabilizing bridge to inhibit transverse rotation of mounting screws that secure the assembly to a door.

    摘要： The present invention provides a locking mechanism positioned in a toothbrush handle (60) having interchangeable heads (130), comprising a shaft (10) that extends the length of the handle (60), with an elliptical tip (20) at one end and receiving means (30) at the opposite end. A key (90) may be interconnected to the receiving means (30) to permit the elliptical tip (20) to rotate. In a first position, the elliptical tip (20) permits the removal and replacement of an interchangeable head (130), because the longer dimensions of the elliptical tip (20) and an elliptically cross sectioned opening in the interchangeable head (130) coincide. In a second, rotated position, the elliptical tip (20) locks within the interchangeable head (130), as the longer dimensions no longer coincide.
