A self-locking paneling system is provided and includes: a panel defining a void therein and a pin positioned within the void; another structure configured to connect with the panel, the other structure comprising a receptacle; and a magnet positioned on at least one of the receptacle and the pin. When the panel and the other structure are positioned together, the pin is configured to move from a retracted position from within the void to an extended position to engage the receptacle using magnetic force produced by the magnet. The self-locking paneling system can be used for raised-flooring systems.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a ball joint dust cover with good sealability that is able, even in low temperature environments, to limit the occurrence of gapping of the so-called small diameter opening and to effectively prevent infiltration of sediment and dust into the dust cover from the outside due to reduction in sealing performance at the small diameter opening. A ball joint dust cover made of a rubber-like elastic material in which: the ball head section formed on one end of a ball stud is held in a socket; the shaft of the other end of the ball stud is tightened and fixed to a knuckle; the large diameter opening of one end is fixed and held on the outer circumferential surface of the socket; the small diameter opening at the other end, to which a hard ring is integrally molded, is held on the shaft; and a membrane section, which connects the large diameter opening of the one end to the small diameter opening of the other end, is provided. The ball joint dust cover has a configuration wherein the inner circumferential surface of the hard ring is mated with the outer circumferential surface of a retainer, which has a cylindrical portion that is fitted and held on the outer circumferential surface of the shaft.

The objective of the present invention is to prevent a connecting pin longer than the correct connecting pin from being used and assembled erroneously. When an assembly support clip (22) is mounted on a pedal arm (12) and an assembly operation is performed whereby a crevice (14) is connected to the pedal arm (12) using a crevice pin (16), the tip end of the crevice pin (16) passes through connecting holes (41, 44, 43) and makes contact with a contact surface (82), thereby restricting the distance by which the crevice pin (16) protrudes from the side surface of the pedal arm (12) to a restricted protrusion size. When another crevice pin (54) with a greater length is used, the retaining function of a β clip (18) is obstructed. Specifically, the β clip (18) cannot be mounted in a clip attachment hole (50). Accordingly, it is easy to determine whether an erroneous assembly using the other crevice pin (54) has occurred on the basis of whether the β clip (18) can be mounted, so an erroneous assembly can be reliably prevented.

An apparatus, transfer cask, system, and method for defueling a nuclear reactor and transferring spent nuclear fuel from a spent nuclear fuel to a storage cask for long terms storage. In one aspect, the invention is an apparatus for use in transferring a canister of spent nuclear fuel from a transfer cask to a storage cask, the apparatus comprising a radiation absorbing shield surrounding a portion of a hole through which the canister can pass; means for securing the apparatus to the top surface ofthe storage cask; means for securing the bottom surface of the transfer cask to the apparatus; wherein the transfer cask securing means and the storage cask securing means are positioned on the apparatus so that when the apparatus is secured to both the transfer cask and the storage cask, the cavity of the transfer cask, the hole, and the cavity of the storage cask are substantially aligned; and means for moving the bottom lid in a horizontal direction once the bottom lid is unfastened from the bottom surface. In another aspect the invention is a transfer cask with a sealable bottom lid. In yet another aspect, the invention is system comprising the above described apparatus, transfer cask, and a storage cask. In still another aspect, the invention is a method of using the system of the present invention to defuel a nuclear reactor and transfer the spent nuclear fuel form a spent nuclear fuel pool to a storage cask.

Disclosed is a fixing system for securing a first sub-assembly to a second component, especially for use in the motor vehicle industry. The inventive fixing system consists of at least one fixing screw (3);a corresponding first pre-assembly thread located on the first sub-assembly and in which the fixing screw (3) is secured after pre-assembly; and a fixing thread (7) on the first sub-assembly or the second component in order to secure the first subassembly to the second component using the fixing screw (3), whereby said fixing screw is secured in the fixing thread (7) pertaining thereto after fixation. The fixing screw (3) has at least one front thread area (1) arranged on the free end of the shaft and a second thread area (2) adjacent to the head of the screw, whereby said second thread area (2) is provided with a plastic covering into which a thread corresponding to the pre-assembly thread (5) is incorporated solely when the fixing screw (3) is screwed into said pre-assembly thread (5).
