Abstract:
This invention relates to a pin bone removal apparatus for removing pin bones (107) in fish fillets (106) while the fish fillets are conveyed by a conveyor means at a first conveying speed (109). A plurality of pin bone removal units (101) is provided, each of which comprises a pin bone roller (102) for pulling the pin bones from the fish fillets, and wherein the apparatus further includes a closed loop rail structure (103) to which the plurality of pin bone removal units are slideable attached to, where the closed loop rail structure comprises a processing section (104), and a returning section (105), the processing section being a section where at least one of the plurality of pin bone removal units are moved parallel to said fish fillets at a second conveying speed (110) and engage with the surface of the fish fillets while removing the pin bones (107) therefrom with said pin bone roller (102), where subsequent to the pin bone removal the at least one pin bone removal unit is recirculated along said returning section (105) and back to a starting position (111) of said processing section (104) where said the pin bone removal process is repeated on a forthcoming fish fillet
Abstract:
A method for packing a fish product (39), and a fish product package. The method comprises packing the fish product (39) in a vacuum package, arranging in said vacuum package an empty space (43), forming in the vacuum package by means of empty space (43) an underpressure, and maintaining the empty space (43) in the package, the underpressure generating pressure on the fish product (39).
Abstract:
A trimming system for fish which is placed with belly sides on opposite sides of a supporting structure. A force supplying means applies opposite forces onto the belly sides towards the supporting structure. A profile measuring means determines the profile of the belly sides, and a cutting means trims the belly sides. Opposite forces are supplied by the force supplying means while the belly sides are measured by the profile measuring means, and the opposite forces are supplied while the belly sides are simultaneously trimmed.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a cutting system (200) for cutting food products while the food products are conveyed by a conveyor (203). An an arc-shaped system (209) and a cutting means (201) are provided, where the cutting means is adapted to be connected to the arc-shaped system. The arc-shaped system is adapted to be positioned above a surface area of the conveyor on which said food products are resting during the cutting such that the center of the arc-shaped system is around the surface area. A control unit (214) operates the position of the cutting means within the arc-shaped system based on image data.
