Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a chemical adsorbent for removing harmful gases, comprising a step of preparing an aqueous chemical solution, which is a mixture of 5 to 20 parts by weight of a chemical for a neutralization or oxidation-reduction reaction of harmful gases, and 120 to 150 parts by weight of purified water, relative to 100 parts by weight of a carrier as an adsorbent; an impregnation step of immersing the carrier in the aqueous chemical solution of a reaction tank and stirring at 50 to 100rpm for 1 to 5hr a resulting mixture obtained by immersing the carrier in the chemical aqueous solution while maintaining a temperature of the reaction tank at 60 to 95°C; and a drying step of evaporating and removing moisture until a moisture content of the chemical adsorbent is 5 to 25% by stirring the resulting mixture at 100 to 300rpm for 4 to 10hr while maintaining the temperature of the reaction tank at 105 to 130°C, wherein the chemical adsorbent is obtained after stirring of the resulting mixture at 50 to 100rpm for 1 to 5hr is completed.

ii. at least one liquid-solid separation means, wherein the at least one liquid-solid separation means
A. comprises at least one outlet that is at least partially closed, and
B. is located in the inner volume, preferably in a further zone of the inner volume;
b. at least partially filling the inner volume with a first mixture, wherein
i. the volume of the first mixture defines a pre-reactant mass, and
ii. the first mixture comprises
A. a particulated porous catalyst, and
B. a first liquid;
c. agitating the first mixture in the inner volume with the at least one agitation means,
i. thereby obtaining a circulation of the first mixture in the inner volume,
ii. wherein
A. preferably a surface loading rate of the first mixture through the at least one liquid-solid separation means is V1,
B. preferably a temperature in the inner volume is T1, and
C. preferably a pressure in the inner volume is P1;
d. at least partially opening the at least one outlet to allow at least a partial volume of the first mixture to exit the inner volume through the at least one outlet,
i. thereby obtaining the reactant mass, wherein the reactant mass is defined as the volume of the first mixture remaining in the inner volume, and
ii. wherein preferably the surface loading rate of the first mixture through the at least one liquid-solid separation means is V2.-
