    摘要: The present invention refers to an improved method of 3D printing / metal powder bed fusion allowing to significantly improve the monitoring and control of such process by measuring temperature of the metal powder layer, analyzing the measured temperature based on the introduced energy, the melting temperature and the latent heat to identify disadvantageous temperature spots, and adapting the process based on the spots. This allows to identify even potential very minor problems to react very early and prevent potential problems arising in highly demanding applications utilizing correspondingly manufactured components. Furthermore, the present invention refers to a computer program product causing a computing entity to execute such method. Furthermore, the present invention refers to a 3D printing device being able to realize the inventive method.
