摘要： Um bei einem als Dichtungsprofil, Kantenschutzprofil oder dergleichen an einem Kraftfahrzeug einzusetzenden Profilstrang (1) auf einfache Weise eine automatisierte Identifizierbarmachung einer Verbindungsstelle, an der zwei Schnittenden des Profilstrangs miteinander verbunden sind, mittels eines metallischen Markers zu gewährleisten, gleichwohl aber die Verwendbarkeit des Profilstrangs auch mit der so markierten Verbindungsstelle durch den metallischen Marker nicht einzuschränken, ist vorgesehen, dass der metallische Marker an bei bestimmungsgemäß am Kraftfahrzeug montiertem Profilsstrang optisch verdeckter Stelle positioniert ist, oder dass die Schnittenden mittels einer Fügemasse (8, 9) stoffschlüssig verbunden sind und der metallische Marker zwischen den stirnseitigen Schnittenden positioniert ist, wobei die Fügemasse (8, 9) in der erzeugten Verbindungsstelle eine Dicke von weniger als 1 mm aufweist und/oder von einer von einer Fügefolie gebildet ist.

摘要： A seal assembly (12) for a vehicle having a first seal (14) and a second seal (16) with a dual end cap (10) disposed between the first and second seals. The hold down feature (58) engages at least a portion of the third distal end (28) of the second seal (16) such that the portion of the third distal end (28) is sandwiched between the cover (54) and the hold down feature (58) for securing the dual end cap (10) to the second seal (16).
