    Abstract: An organic-inorganic composite of the present invention includes metal oxide particles and an organic polymer compound including a monomer containing organic ligands and a vinyl-based monomer having organic ligands which are bonded to a polymer chain through covalent bonds and the organic polymer compound is bonded to the metal oxide particles by the organic ligands forming a complex with metal atoms on the surface of the metal oxide particles.
