摘要： Thermosetting bidder composition for coating, comprising:
(I) (1) A non-acidic resinous compound, saturated, molecular weight at least 900, alcoholic hydroxyl content at least 0.2 eq./100 g; (2) as cross-linking agent a non-acidic polyester of a polycarboxylic acid, having more than one beta-hydroxyl ester group per molecule, at least one of components (1) and (2) having an alcoholic hydroxyl functionality of more than 2, and (II) as curing catalyst a transesterification-promoting metal compound which is insoluble in liquid hydrocarbons. The compositions can be used in solvent-based lacquers and paints, in coating powders, aqueous powder suspensions, in aqueous coating compositions for cathodic electrodeposition; for aqueous compositions component (I) (1) is preferably an epoxy resin/amine adduct.-

摘要： Die Erfindung betrifft Lackbindemittel auf Basis eines tertiäre Aminogruppen, verkappte Isocyanatgruppen, Hy droxyl- und Ethergruppen enthaltenden Copolymerisats, das durch zumindest teilweise Salzbildung mit einer Säure wasserlöslich oder wasserdispergierbar ist.
Das Copolymerisat enthält einpolymerisiert eine olefi nisch ungesättigte Verbindung, die eine tertiäre Amino gruppe enthält, ein mit einem CH-, OH- oder NH-aciden Verkappungsmittel verkapptes N-(1-alkenyl)-isocyanat, ein Addukt aus einem Epoxidharz auf der Basis von Bisphenol A und Epichlorhydrin mit einem Molekulargewicht zwischen 380 und 3500 und einem olefinisch ungesättigten Alkohol mit 3 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen sowie einer olefinisch ungesät tigten Carbonsäure mit 3 bis 20 Kohlenstoffatomen, sowie gegebenenfalls eine oder mehrere weitere copolymerisier bare olefinisch ungesättigte Verbindungen, und weist ein mittleres Molekulargewicht zwischen 1000 und 20 000 auf.
Das erfindungsgemäße Lackbindemittel eignet sich als selbstvernetzendes und fremdvernetzendes Bindemittel für die kathodische Elektrotauchlackierung metallischer Ge genstände.-

摘要： A composition of matter is provided, which comprises certain polydiene-functionalized epoxy-amine adduct and certain polydieneophile-functionalized polyisocyanate oligomer, which epoxy-amine adduct and polyisocyanate oligomer are co-reactive at elevated cure temperature. The polydiene-functionalized epoxy-amine adduct comprises the reaction product of certain polyhydroxy functional epoxy-amine reactant with diene-functional mono-isocyanate reactant. The polydieneophile-functionalized polyisocyanate oligomer comprises the reaction product of polyisocyanate reactant, preferably a triisocyanate, with approximately equal molar equivalent amount of monohydroxy dieneophile reactant or monoamino dieneophile reactant or like isocyanate-reactive dieneophile reactant. The crosslinkable composition of matter is useful in coating and other applications, especially cathodic electrocoating applications.
