摘要: Proposed is a CO2-reduction membrane electrode assembly (MEA), which is a novel MEA capable of changing a reaction condition to an alkaline condition from a problematic acidic condition unfavorable to reactions on a cathode side during catalytic reactions using a cation exchange membrane (CEM) as a separator. In addition, the MEA can reduce a hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), which is a side reaction. In addition, a method of manufacturing the MEA, and a CO2-reduction assembly including the MEA are also proposed.

摘要: An electrode of an embodiment includes a porous titanium support and a catalyst layer for electrolysis provided on the porous titanium support and stacked sheet layers and gap layers alternately. A first covering layer including titanium oxide is provided on the porous titanium support on the catalyst layer side. A second covering layer including titanium oxide is provided on the porous titanium support on an opposite side of the catalyst layer. An average thickness of the first covering layer is denoted as D1. An average thickness of the second covering layer is denoted as D2. D1 and D2 satisfies 1 [nm] ≤ D2-D1 ≤ 20 [nm].

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an electrode assembly for water electrolysis, in which an electrolyte membrane is kept from being deteriorated. The present invention provides an electrode structure for water electrolysis, including an anode electrode and a cathode electrode disposed to face each other, characterized in that at least one of the anode electrode and the cathode electrode includes a porous component and a reticular component in order from the facing surface side, and the standard deviation of a pressure distribution at the surface of contact between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode, determined by the following measurement method, is 2.7 MPa or less.
After a test piece that has a pressure measurement film sandwiched between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode is pressurized at 4 MPa for 2 minutes, the pressure distribution obtained by a pressure analysis from a color image of the pressure measurement film, obtained from a pressure image analysis system, is defined as a pressure distribution at the surface of contact between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode, and the standard deviation of the pressure distribution is determined.-

摘要: Die Erfindung betrifft eine Gasdiffusionselektrode umfassend ein Substrat, eine Katalysatorschicht und einen Stromsammler. Das Substrat ist elektrisch nicht-leitend, hydrophob und weist eine Porenstruktur auf. Auf dem Substrat ist die Katalysatorschicht aufgebracht. Der Stromsammler weist eine erste Seite und eine zweite Seite auf, wobei die erste Seite einen Polymerschichtabschnitt und einen elektrischen Potentialanlegebereich aufweist. Der Polymerschichtabschnitt ist mit einer Polymerschicht beschichtet, während der elektrische Potentialanlegebereich keine Polymerschicht aufweist. Ferner weist die zweite Seite einen elektrischen Kontaktierungsabschnitt auf. Der elektrische Kontaktierungsabschnitt ist der Katalysatorschicht zugewandt, sodass eine elektrische Kontaktierung mit dieser ermöglicht wird. Durch die Katalysatorschicht kann ein elektrischer Stromfluss durch den elektrischen Kontaktierungsabschnitt und dem elektrischen Potentialanlegebereich ermöglicht werden.
Des Weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein System umfassend eine Elektrolysezelle, welche die erfindungsgemäße Gasdiffusionselektrode aufweist und ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemäßen Gasdiffusionselektrode.-

摘要: The present water electrolyzer has a stack structure with a cell and a separator stacked alternately. The separator includes a metal plate and a flow path member. The metal plate has a distribution hole. The flow path member is located between a base layer of the cell and the metal plate in a stacking direction. The flow path member surrounds the distribution hole in a ring-like shape when viewed in the stacking direction. The flow path member includes a flow path through which a gas diffusion layer of the cell and the distribution hole communicate with each other. As a result, it becomes possible to cause gas or water to flow between the gas diffusion layer and the distribution hole through the flow path formed at the flow path member. This eliminates a need to form a flow path using a combination of a plurality of metal plates, thereby achieving reduction in the number of the metal plates to be used as the separator.
