    摘要: An adjustable pipe coupling assembly (10) has a first clamp (30), a second clamp (32), and means (38, 40, 44) for rotating the clamps independently about a first common axis shared by the clamps and extending vertically. The first clamp (30) includes a first pair of opposed ears (52, 54) spaced apart so as to allow a first pipe (16) to be located therebetween. Each one of the opposed ears (52, 54) has a hole (56, 58) formed therethrough. The pair of holes (56, 58) share a second common axis extending in a first horizontal plane and are adapted to receive first pivot means, such as a bolt (60), therethrough for engaging the first pipe (16). The first pipe (16) is, as a result, pivotable in a first vertical plane about the second common axis. The second clamp (32) includes a second pair of opposed ears (52, 54) spaced apart so as to allow a second pipe (18) to be located therebetween. Each one of the opposed ears has a hole (56, 58) formed threthrough. The pair of holes share a third common axis perpendicular to the second common axis and extending in a second horizontal plane, the pair of holes being adapted to receive second pivot means, such as a bolt (60), therethrough for engaging the second pipe (18). The second pipe (18) is, as a result, pivotable in a second vertical plane about the third common axis. The arrangement is such that, in use, the rotating means rotate the clamps so as to adjust the horizontal angle between the second and third common axes, and each of the first and second pivot means pivot their respective pipe so as to adjust the vertical angle between the first and second pipes.

    摘要: A universal clamp that is capable of solving problems of insufficient strength and complicated processing inherent in a conventional clamp and holding pipes having different diameters, and which is also capable of holding pipes such that they intersect with each other perpendicularly or diagonally, or that they are parallel to each other. In a main body, an embracing and securing body (7) provided with two recessed portions is pivotally secured at one end of an embracing and holding body (1) by means of a pin (8), and a groove type auxiliary embracing and holding body (10) is pivotally secured at the other end of the embracing and holding body (1) by means of a pin (9). A nut (13) for clamping a clamping reinforcement member (12) is mounted at the leading end of the groove type auxiliary embracing and holding body (1) or the leading end is made thicker and threaded for threadingly receiving a bolt (7). The embracing and holding body (1) and the embracing and securing body (7) clamp a pipe therebetween, and the auxiliary embracing and holding body (10) is put over the embracing and securing body (7). Then, a bolt (11) is tightened such that the auxiliary embracing and holding body (10) is pressed closely to the recessed portions of the embracing and securing body (7) to thereby holding the pipe. In a structure where pipes can perpendicularly intersect with each other, when one embracing and holding body (1) is rotated together with a main shaft (3) so as to push up a rotation stopper lid member (4), the other embracing and holding body (2) and the rotation stopper lid member (4) are freed from the rotation of the main shaft, and when the two embracing and holding bodies (1, 2) are located so as to perpendicularly intersect with each other or to be parallel to each other, the rotation stopper lid member (4) is placed over the main shaft (3) such that the one embracing and holding body (1) is fixed relative to the other embracing and holding body (2).
