In einem ersten Aspekt richtet sich die vorliegende Erfindung auf einen Flachriemen (1, 6, 7) als endloses Zugmittel geeignet für Förderbänder, wobei der Flachriemen keine Gewebeeinlage im Kraftübertragungsbereich (2) und ggf. keine Gewebeeinlage im Rücken (5) des Riemens aufweist. In einem weiteren Aspekt wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Flachriemens (1, 6, 7) als endloses Zugmittel bereitgestellt. Dieses Verfahren ist ein mehrstufiges Verfahren beinhaltend die Schritte des Ausbildens eines Flachriemens (1, 6, 7) mit einem Grundkörper und darin vorliegendem endlosen Zugträgerelements mittels Rotationsvulkanisationsverfahren und dem anschließenden Ausformen zumindest eines Teils des Kraftübertragungsbereiches (2) an dem durch Rotationsvulkanisationsverfahren erhaltenen Flachriemen. Darüber hinaus werden Antriebsmittel für Förderbänder umfassend einen erfindungsgemäßen Flachriemen (1, 6, 7) bereitgestellt sowie Landwirtschaftsmaschinen mit einer zum Fördern von landwirtschaftlichem Erntegut eingerichteten Fördereinrichtung mit erfindungsgemäßen Flachriemen (1, 6, 7) bzw. Förderband.

A method for enabling a presetter to connect connecting portions of belts having different widths, and for forming an endless connection of a flat belt with no defects such as the bend of the connecting portions. This method includes a first step of setting so that the connecting portions at both ends of the flat belt are placed on a lower mold surface of the presetter, and that, with the flat belt held from both sides by a wall part standing from the lower mold surface and a flat belt member having substantially the same compression property as the flat belt, an upper mold of the presetter is placed on the flat belt and the flat belt member, and then fixing the flat belt and the flat belt member by the presetter; and a second step of connecting the connecting portions at the both ends by pressing the presetter with the flat belt and the flat belt member fixed.

Provided are a sulfur-modified chloroprene rubber with reduced exothermicity, a molding thereof, and a production method therefor. A sulfur-modified chloroprene rubber modified at the polymer terminals with at least one compound selected from tetramethylthiuram disulfide, tetraalkylthiuram disulfides with alkyl groups having a carbon number of 2 to 7 and dialkyldithiocarbamic acid salts with alkyl groups having a carbon number of 1 to 7, wherein there are peak tops at 3.55 to 3.61 ppm and at 3.41 to 3.47 ppm in 1 H-NMR spectrum, as determined in deuterochloroform solvent, wherein the ratio (A/B) of the peak area (A) at 3.55 to 3.61 ppm to the peak area (B) at 4.2 to 6.5 ppm is 0.05/100 to 0.50/100, and the extract with ethanol/toluene azeotropic mixture, as specified by JIS K 6229, is 3.0 to 9.0 mass %.

The present invention can provide a nitrile rubber composition and a cross-linkable nitrile rubber composition, capable of giving a highly-saturated cross-linked nitrile rubber having high tensile stress and excellent heat resistance, and a cross-linked rubber thereof.

The present invention has for its object to provide a power transmission belt having good heat resistance and low temperature resistance and showing only slight variation in life owing to slow crack development and, further, showing high reliability. The present invention consists in a power transmission belt the main constituent rubber composition of which comprises not less than 50% by weight, on the total polymer component basis, of an ethylene/α-olefin/diene terpolymer with sulfur incorporated therein as a curing or vulcanizing agent.
