    摘要: An expansion machine for converting thermal energy and pressure energy of working medium into mechanical energy comprising a section, e.g. an axial piston cylinder group, working with working medium introduced into a working chamber, and an enclosed chamber (102) storing oil for lubricating at least the working section. Breather chambers (101, 103) are provided above the lubrication chamber (102) and interconnected through breather passages (B1-B4) with a chamber (90) into which working medium is discharged from the working chamber. Mixture of working medium leaked from the working chamber into the lubrication chamber (102) and oil is separated at the breather chambers (101, 103) and oil is returned to the lubrication chamber (102) and the working medium is returned to the working medium discharging chamber (90) through the breather passages (B1-B4). When the oil and working medium are mixed in the casing of the expansion machine, its effect can be minimized.

    摘要: In a hydrostatic transmission (26), an oil expansion reservoir (42) is formed as an integral part of the hydrostatic transmission housing (16), providing an extension to the housing chamber (22) which encloses motion transmitting components (32,34) of the transmission. The reservoir is defined by a yieldably compressible hollow body (44) mounted within the chamber of the transmission housing. The hollow body is sealably attached at its open end to the outer wall (16A) of the transmission housing. The body includes a continuous cylindrical sidewall (50) connected to a closed end wall and formed of alternating reversed annular folds (50A,50B) which cause compression and expansion of the body sidewall to occur in a bellows-like fashion rectilinearly along a central longitudinal axis of the body.
