    摘要: A metering device contains a rotor which defines elongate chamber, there being a shuttle contained within the chamber movable between two terminal end positions. Frusto conical surfaces defined on the rotor co-operate with annular members defining correspondings seats. One passage extends from one end of the chamber to one frusto conical surface, and another passage extends from the other end of the chamber to the other frusto conical surface. Each annual element defines a respective inlet and outlet for fluid and a shuttle is present within the chamber. As the rotor rotates, the shuttle effects a shuttling movement thus measuring dispensed volumes of fluid. A sensor is provided to detect physical contact of the shuttle with the end of the chamber to cause the rotor to advance.

    摘要: A metering device includes an inlet (2) and outlet (3) for a material (liquids, gases or solid particles) to be metered, a rotatable ball (4) driven by a shaft (5) and interposed between inlet (8a) and outlet (8) seats. The rotatable ball has a transverse bore (9) containing a sealess shuttling member (10) which can reciprocate back and forth along the bore between two sealing seats (11, 12) so as to seal against one or the other. The sealess shuttling member which is cylindrical-shaped and has ends which are adapted to sealingly engage sealing seats provided at each end of said transverse bore is propelled by pressurized material which flows into the bore without surface-to-surface contact of the shuttling member with the bore wall until is engages one of the two sealing seats. Each time the rotatable ball rotates 180°, a metered shot is ejected resulting in a quasi continuous flow depending upon a rotatable ball revolution rate.
    Such a metering device allows an exact metering of a great range of material and has few working parts.

    摘要: An apparatus for metering and filling a liquid product under sterile conditions includes a closed housing (1, 2, 3) in which measuring vessels (11, 12) of specific volume are arranged. The liquid product is delivered to one group of measuring vessels until the product flows over the rims thereof while, at the same time, liquid product is emptied from the measuring vessels in the other group and filled into product containers. Subsequent to having filled the first group of measuring vessels and emptying the other group of measuring vessels, the positions of the two groups are reversed by rotating the closed housing (1, 2, 3) and its bottom plate (4) through 180 DEG about a vertical axle (19), so that both groups are brought into liquid connection with respective product delivery conduits (22) and liquid product emptying conduits (23). The liquid product is emptied for filling into the product containers under the influence of a gas overpressure, which also functions to blow out the last residues of liquid through the pouring nozzle (24), so as to prevent subsequent dripping of the liquid product.
