摘要: Intended is to provide a resin magnet material which not only has excellent flame-retardant property, but also generates a reduced amount of toxic substances during burning, if burned, and further can be molded with a significantly little failure rate, and an electron beam controlling apparatus using the same. A first invention is a flame-retardant resin magnet material comprising a flame-retardant resin composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a polyamide resin, (B) more than 10 and less than 70 parts by weight of a heat-resistant aluminum hydroxide having a decomposition temperature of 280 °C or higher and (C) more than 40 and less than 270 parts by weight of antimony trioxide, and (Z) an alnico or ferrite magnetic powder. A second invention is a flame-retardant resin magnet material which, in addition to (A) to (C) and (Z), further comprises zinc borate in a specific amount. A third invention is a flame-retardant resin magnet material which, in addition to the material of the first or second invention, further comprises guanidine sulfamate in a specific amount.

摘要: A CRT display system in which an electron beam (32) is directed in a plane substantially parallel to a faceplate (14) carrying a phosphor screen (16) the beam (32) being deflected towards the screen. The position of the beam is controlled to correct for deviation caused, for example, by the influence of ambient magnetic fields. Sensor devices (50, 51) periodically detect during the tube operation deviation of the beam from the desired plane and control deflector electrodes (37) which return the beam to the desired plane. Twisting and lateral shifting of the scanning beam can also be corrected. Beam position sensing is accomplished by overscanning the beam towards the sensor devices during, for example, field blanking periods, so as not to interfere with the display picture.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an electron gun (10) for use in a colour display tube (1) is described. The electron gun (10) is provided with an additional electrode (44), positioned between the anode electrode (21a) and the centring cup (23). This additional electrode (44) is part of the beaded unit (29) of the electron gun (10), and this enables very accurate positioning of this additional electrode (44) with regard to its distance to the main focusing section (21) as well as its rotation. This makes it possible to use this additional electrode (44) to improve the quality of the main focusing section (21) by considering it as an integral part of the main focusing section (21). For this reason this additional electrode is referred to as Main lens Field Modifier (MFM) (44). It is shown that by varying the vertical dimension of the apertures (52), (53) of the MFM (44) or the spacing between MFM (44) and main focusing section (21), it is possible to increase the effective lens diameter for spherical aberration, while the effective lens diameter for magnification is kept constant. In other words, the spot performance of the electron gun (10) is improved, while the length of the electron gun (10) is kept unaltered. With a view to obtaining the accuracy needed for a main focusing section (21) with a good tolerance behaviour, this new method of manufacturing an electron gun (10) is of great importance.

Then, the electron beams (R) and (B) are corrected so as to move downward and upward (or upward and downward) respectively by the quadrupole magnetic field generated by the pair of bar-shaped magnets (8). Thus, a misconvergence due to the rotational shift of the electron beams can be corrected.
