    Abstract: An object is to provide a noise filter that can achieve high reliability. A noise filter (10) includes: a noise detection unit (12) which detects a common mode noise (CN) flowing through an electric path (11); an amplification unit (16) which, on the basis of the common mode noise (CN) detected by the noise detection unit (12), generates a cancellation signal (CS) for canceling out the common mode noise (CN); an injection unit (14) which injects the cancellation signal (CS) into the electric path (11); an abnormality detection unit (17) which detects abnormality of the noise filter (10) on the basis of output voltage or output current of the cancellation signal (CS), and outputs an abnormality detection signal (AS); and a protection circuit (18) which inhibits an abnormal cancellation signal (CS) from being injected into the electric path (11), on the basis of the abnormality detection signal (AS).

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a time division interleaving band-pass filter for use in voice activity detection, which operates at different central frequencies in respective intervals of a predetermined period of time. The band-pass filter circuitry includes multiple band-pass filtering channels sharing a common transistor circuit, bias circuit and current mirror circuit. The multiple band-pass filtering channels operate in a time division interleaving manner, which enables the sharing of the common set of band-pass filter circuitry components. Thus, the present invention allows a reduced chip area as the area does not increase proportionally with the number of filtering channels. The invention also mitigates the influence of transistor fabrication variations on the filter's central frequencies. Moreover, pulse durations t i are additionally introduced to the determination of the central frequencies, dispensing with the need for matching of current mirror circuits and transistors and resulting in higher accuracy of the band-pass filter's central frequencies. As a result, more band-pass filtering channels with different central frequencies can be included for a given frequency range.

    Abstract: A circuit (12) for sensing an input analog signal generated by a sensor (10) at a first frequency and generating an output digital signal ( ADC_out' ) indicative of the input analog signal sensed is described. The circuit (12) comprises:
    - a conditioning circuit block (121) configured for receiving at an input port (PZR_P, PZR N) the input analog signal and generating at an output port a conditioned analog signal, and
    - an analog-to-digital converter (122) configured for providing at a converter output node a converted digital signal ( ADC_out ) resulting from conversion to digital of the conditioned analog signal.
    The circuit further comprises:
    - a feedback circuit block (125) between the converter output node and a control input of the conditioning circuit block (121), the feedback circuit block (125) comprising a band-pass filter configured to selectively detect a periodic signal at a second frequency higher than the first frequency and being configured to act on the conditioning circuit block (121) to counter variations of the periodic signal at the second frequency, and
    - a low-pass filter (126) coupled at the converter output node having a low-pass cut-off frequency lower than the second frequency, the low-pass filter (126) configured to filter out the periodic signal from the converted digital signal ( ADC_out ) to generate the output digital signal ( ADC_out' ).
