The resonator includes a piezoelectric substrate (200) and an interdigital transducer (01), where the interdigital transducer (01) includes a plurality of first interdigital electrodes (11) and a plurality of second interdigital electrodes (12) that are alternately disposed in parallel in a first direction (XX'), a first bus bar (10) and a second bus bar (20) that are distributed on different sides of the plurality of interdigital electrodes (T) in a direction perpendicular to the first direction (YY'), the first bus bar (10) is connected to the first interdigital electrode (11), the second bus bar (20) is connected to the second interdigital electrode (12), a first piston (1) and a second piston (3) disposed on upper surfaces of two end portions of the first interdigital electrode (11), a third piston (3) and a fourth piston (4) disposed on upper surfaces of two end portions of the second interdigital electrode (12), where the first piston (1) is close to the first bus bar (10) relative to the second piston (2), the third piston (3) is close to the first bus bar (1) relative to the fourth piston (4), the first piston (1) and the third piston (3) have different lengths, and the second piston (2) and the fourth piston (4) have different lengths.

    摘要: A tuning fork type quartz crystal resonator may be used to generate higher harmonic oscillations at the base portion thereof by appropriate selection of the width (W) and thickness (t) of an arm portion of the resonator as well as the cut angle of the original crystal. This tuning fork type quartz crystal resonator generating higher harmonic oscillations shows stable characteristics against temperature changes.
