Abstract:
This application discloses a communication system and method, and a related device. The communication system includes a CO device and a plurality of RRHs, where the plurality of RRHs constitute a ring network by using optical fibers; the CO device is connected to the ring network, and is configured to: modulate a baseband signal to N first optical carriers that are generated by the CO device, to obtain N second optical carriers; and transmit the N second optical carriers to the ring network by using a first optical fiber. Any RRH of the plurality of RRHs is configured to: obtain a target optical carrier from received second optical carriers, convert the target optical carrier into an electrical signal, and transmit the electrical signal as a downlink signal. According to embodiments of this application, an all-optical communication system is implemented by using a layout of an optical component in an architecture and using an optical ring network topology; and the communication system has a self-healing protection function.
Abstract:
A determination device for an optical wavelength division multiplex communication system configured to set each of different paths each of which is formed by connection of spans each of which is a zone between two adjacent transmission devices, among transmission devices forming a communication network, in the communication network, or a single span in the communication network, for the corresponding one of different wavelengths, and configured to transmit an optical signal of each of the wavelengths via the corresponding path set to the wavelength, the device comprising: determination means for determining whether an optical signal of at least one of the wavelengths is transmittable only to a path, among newly formed paths, for which the number of spans forming the path is equal to or less than a predetermined upper-limit number, in order to transmit one or more optical signals of one or more wavelengths among the wavelengths.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses an optical transmitter and a transmission method, and an optical receiver and a reception method. When a first laser in N lasers is switched to a second idle laser in M lasers, a wavelength of a wavelength-selective optical element to which the first laser is coupled is adjusted from a first wavelength to a second wavelength, and the second wavelength is different from the N wavelengths. Similarly, when a first optical receiver in N optical receivers is switched to a second idle optical receiver in M optical receivers, a wavelength of a wavelength-selective optical element to which the first optical receiver is coupled is adjusted from a first wavelength to a second wavelength, and the second wavelength is different from the N wavelengths. According to the foregoing technical solution, in embodiments of the present invention, complexity of an optical transmitter and an optical receiver is decreased, an extra power loss is reduced, and output optical power is improved.
Abstract:
This application provides an optical communication system, a vehicle, and an industrial optical network, and relates to the field of optical communications. A light source module in the optical communication system can be connected to a group of first nodes separately through two carrier bearer networks. Therefore, even if either carrier bearer network is faulty, the other carrier bearer network can continue to transmit an optical carrier, thereby effectively improving reliability of optical carrier transmission, and further improving reliability of the optical communication system. In addition, because the two carrier bearer networks are independent of each other and can work simultaneously, after either carrier bearer network is faulty, no failover is needed. This can avoid interrupted transmission of the optical carrier caused by the failover, and further avoid interrupted transmission of a service optical signal.
Abstract:
This application provides an optical cross-connect OXC device, a communication method, and a communication system. In the OXC device provided in this application, if a first path is faulty, path switching may be directly implemented between working boards in the OXC device, and a backup board does not need to be installed. This reduces production costs of the OXC device. In addition, a working board may be installed in a slot that is occupied by the backup board and that is in the OXC device. This further improves service processing efficiency of the OXC device.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an optical network unit (ONU) service protection method, an ONU service protection device, and a computer readable storage medium. The ONU service protection method includes: configuring an ONU with an uplink passive optical network (PON) link and a redundant uplink Ethernet link; detecting the transmission signal quality of the uplink PON link of the ONU; when it is determined that the transmission signal quality of the uplink PON link is lower than a preset quality threshold, or when it is detected that the uplink PON link is interrupted, detecting the link state of the redundant uplink Ethernet link of the uplink PON link; and switching a service bearer channel of the uplink PON link to the uplink Ethernet link when it is determined that the link state of the uplink Ethernet link satisfies a preset condition.
