A scanning line conversion section (4) performs scanning line conversion. A horizontal pixel conversion section(5) performs horizontal pixel conversion. A synchronization section (6) gives a predetermined clock, vertical and horizontal synchronizing signals to each block. Thus a single system performs vertical frequency conversion, IP conversion, scanning line conversion and horizontal pixel conversion.

The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for controlling the supply voltage (Ubvar) of a video signal deflection unit, especially a horizontal deflection unit (1) pertaining to a television apparatus or a monitor. The inventive arrangement comprises a control device (7) that receives a measured frequency signal (A) corresponding to the current frequency value of an input frequency (HSYNC) and a measured voltage signal (B) corresponding to the current voltage value of the supply voltage (Ubvar). The control device can adjust the operating frequency (D) of the video signal deflection unit (1) and the supply voltage (Ubvar) in an interdependent manner, according to said two measured signals (A, B) and in such a way that malfunctioning of the video signal deflection unit (1) is reliably prevented, whereby said operating frequency depends on the input frequency (HSYNC).

A method and an apparatus for remotely interacting with a PC (107). A local PC interface unit (101) is coupled to a PC (107). The interface unit receives audio/visual output signals from the PC (107). Unit (101) converts the audio/visual signals to a format for ordinary TV. Local input devices are also coupled to the PC interface unit (101). The local PC device wirelessly transmits the converted audio/visual output signals to TV interface unit (103) which is coupled to a TV and stereo for playback. A remote input device interface unit (105) located near the TV receives multiple signals from multiple input devices. The interface (105) multiplexes the remote input device signals into a data stream wirelessly transmitted to the PC interface unit.
