摘要: We provide a respiratory therapy system comprising:
a flow generator;
a humidifier;
a respiratory conduit
a patient interface coupled to the respiratory conduit to deliver a gases flow to a patient;
a sensor configured to determine pressure or flow of the gases flow;
a controller configured to control the flow generator to generate the gases flow; and the controller configured to:
a) retrieve at least one first signal associated with or indicative of a gases flow and/or pressure in the respiratory conduit;
b) determine a measure of at least one first parameter associated with gases flow perturbations and/or pressure perturbations for at least one portion of the retrieved at least one first signal; and
c) determine the presence of liquid in the respiratory conduit based at least in part on the measure(s) of the at least one first parameter meeting a first threshold.
The system can be used to reduce or alleviate condensation in a respiratory gas deliver conduit.-

An example air quality monitoring device (100; 700) includes a housing (102; 702) comprising a chamber (104) and an inlet port (106; 706), a plurality of sensors (108) to measure air quality data, and a controller (112). The inlet port (106; 706) is structured to selectively receive ambient air flow such that the sensors (108) measure air quality data associated with the ambient air flow and to selectively receive air flow directly from an outlet port of a positive airway pressure machine such that the sensors (108) measure air quality data associated with the air flow from the positive airway pressure machine. The controller (112) compares the measured air quality data associated with the ambient air flow with the measured air quality data associated with the air flow from the positive airway pressure machine to determine net air quality data associated with the air flow from the positive airway pressure machine.

摘要: A nasal respiratory assembly (205) is described. The assembly (205) includes a pair of sheets (225). Each sheet (225) defines an opening (217) sized and shaped to fit over a nostril of a patient, with a ferromagnetic ring (262) positioned at an underside of the sheet (225) and circumferentially aligned with the opening (217). An upper side of the sheet (225) is configured for sealable engagement with the nostril. The assembly (205) includes a pair of posts (220). Each post (210) includes a magnetic ring (250) positioned at a first end and a receptacle positioned at a second end with a passageway extending from the first to the second ends. The magnetic ring (250) is removably attachable to the ferromagnetic ring (262). The assembly (205) also includes a connector (290) with a pair of channel openings at a post end. Each channel opening is sized and shaped to cooperate with one of the receptacles of the post (220) to form a substantially airtight connection therewith, and an inlet at a vent end that is fluid communication with a flexible tubing connected to a fluid source.
