摘要: The present invention is a concentration method for concentrating, before performing analysis using an analysis device, an analysis solution that includes an analysis solute and an analysis solvent. The concentration method is based on forward osmosis in which, using a concentration device, the analysis solution and the induction solution are brought into mutual contact via a forward osmosis membrane so that the analysis solvent within the analysis solution is removed by being allowed to pass through the forward osmosis membrane and be transferred into the induction solvent. The concentration device includes: a forward osmosis membrane module including the forward osmosis membrane; an analysis solution tank; analysis solution feed piping; an induction solution tank; and induction solution feed piping. The total of the capacity of an analysis solution fluid flow section of the forward osmosis membrane module and the capacity of the analysis solution feed piping is 500 mL or less. The concentration of the analysis solute in the analysis solution is 0.01 ppm or less, and the concentration of the analysis solute in the analysis solution after concentration is 0.02 ppm or greater.

摘要: The present invention provides a gas separation system suitable for separating a gas mixture efficiently. A gas separation system 100 of the present invention includes: a first separation membrane 11 that separates a gas mixture 70 into a first permeated gas 80 and a first non-permeated gas 81; and a second separation membrane 21 that separates the first non-permeated gas 81 into a second permeated gas 90 and a second non-permeated gas 91. The gas mixture 70 contains a gas A and a gas B different from the gas A. The first separation membrane 11 allows the gas A to preferentially permeate therethrough. The second separation membrane 21 allows the gas B to preferentially permeate therethrough. A membrane area of the first separation membrane 11 is smaller than a membrane area of the second separation membrane 21. The gas separation system 100 recovers each of the second permeated gas 90 and the second non-permeated gas 91.

The method of formation provides for preparation of poly (aryl ether ketone) articles with high degree of surface area and uniform nanometer pore size. The preferred poly (aryl ether ketone)s are poly (ether ketone) and poly (ether ether ketone). The mesoporous articles formed by the method of the present invention are useful for a broad range of applications, including molecular separations and organic solvent filtration.
