摘要:
The present invention relates to an albite and/or anorthite glass ceramic material, which exhibits a sensation of thermal warmth and its production process. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of this glass-ceramic material for the manufacturing of industrial, structural and ornamental ceramic products.
摘要:
Porcelain compositions, especially dental porcelain compositions, which contain leucite crystals in controlled amounts in a glassy phase matrix to permit selective adjustment of the thermal coefficient of expansion of the porcelain compositions, including methods of preparing and using same and products derived therefrom.
摘要:
A method for producing a glass-ceramic containing lusite crystals which comprises admixing (1) a glass material containing 53 to 65 wt % of SiO2, 13 to 23 wt % of Al2O3, 9 to 20 wt % of K2O and 6 to 12 wt % of Na2O with (2) a synthetic leucite seed crystal containing 53 to 64 wt % of SiO2, 19 to 27 wt % of Al2O3 and 17 to 25 wt % of K2O, and then subjecting the resultant mixture to a heat treatment at 750 to 950?C for 1 to 5 hr; and a dental porcelain powder and a dental metal-ceramic reparative product which comprise a glass-ceramic prepared by using the method. The dental porcelain powder is substantially free from the decrease of a thermal expansion coefficient and the occurrence of opacification during the operation of fusing it to a metal frame.

A ceramic structure which is pollucite-based and has high refractoriness and high resistance to thermal shock. The inventive structure is suitable in high temperature applications such as a filtering particulates from diesel engine exhaust.
摘要:
A stainproof material which comprises a substrate and an inorganic film consisting substantially of a noncrystalline metal oxide, wherein the inorganic film contains an alkali metal and non-bridging oxygen in an amount effective to clean only by washing with water stains deposited on the surface thereof by an exhaust gas to such an extent as to recover a diffuse reflectance by 75 % or more and is fixed on the uppermost layer of the stainproof material; and a method for manufacturing the same; and a coating composition and an apparatus therefor. This stainproof material is excellent in resistance to stains in the surface of an article especially to those containing oily substances.
摘要:
A radioactive microsphere for radiation therapy of a mammal comprising a biologically compatible glass material containing a beta or gamma emitting radioisotope distributed substantially uniformly throughout the glass. Advantageously, the radioisotope is produced by irradiation of the microsphere.

Provided is a very strong and transparent crystallized glass. This crystallized glass is characterized by containing, by oxide-equivalent mass%, 40.0-55.0% of a SiO2 component, 10.0-30.0% of an Al2O3 component, 10.0-30.0% of a MgO component, 5.0-15.0% of a TiO2 component, and more than 0% and up to 8.0% of a Na2O component, where the Vickers hardness (Hv) is 700 or higher and the spectral transmittance at 400 nm is 50% or higher with regard to a 1 mm-thick sample.

The invention is directed to a glass-ceramic seal, said seal comprising a boron-free, zinc-free glass-ceramic. The seals have a coefficient of thermal expansion in the range of 70-130 x 10 -7 °C, preferably 85-115 x 10- 7 °C. The glass-ceramic materials have a crystalline component and a glass component, the crystalline component being >50% of the glass-ceramic and the glass component being 50% of the crystals in the crystalline component of the glass-ceramic has a structure selected from the structural groups represented by kalsilite, kaliophilite and wollastonite (the primary crystalline phase) and the remaining
