摘要: Described herein is a multi-phase polymer binder comprising:
an aqueous polymer dispersion present in an amount of 65 wt% to 100 wt%;
a hydrophobic emulsion from 0 wt% to 25 wt%; and
a surfactant from 0 wt% to 10 wt%;
wherein the polymer binder, when dried, provides a water uptake of less than 5 g/m 2 /20 min in accordance with Cobb test, a seal strength of at least 200 Newton/meter (N/m) as measured at 25 °C and 90 °C, and block resistance of 3 to 5 when measured at 50° C and 60 psi for 24 hours in accordance with the method described in the description, and
the aqueous polymer dispersion comprises an acid-rich copolymer present in an amount of 5 wt% to 60 wt%; and an acid-free copolymer present in an amount of 40 wt% to 95 wt%, wherein the acid-rich copolymer comprises carboxylic acid functional monomers in an amount of 5 wt% to 25 wt%; styrene in an amount of up to 70 wt%; and (meth)acrylate monomers in an amount of 10 wt% to 90 wt%, and
the acid-free copolymer comprises styrene in an amount of up to 50 wt%; and (meth)acrylate monomers in an amount of 50 wt% to less than 100 wt%, and
wherein the aqueous polymer dispersion has a solids content (NV %) from 40.3 to 47.9%.-

摘要: The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition, a method of preparing the same, and a molded article manufactured using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition including an alkyl acrylate-aromatic vinyl compound-vinyl cyanide compound graft copolymer (A) including a seed obtained by polymerizing 35 to 58 % by weight of an alkyl acrylate and 42 to 65 % by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound, a rubber core formed to surround the seed and obtained by polymerizing 78 to 91 % by weight of an alkyl acrylate and 9 to 22 % by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound, and a graft shell formed to surround the rubber core and obtained by polymerizing 65 to 82 % by weight of an aromatic vinyl compound, 12 to 30 % by weight of a vinyl cyanide compound, and 3 to 15 % by weight of an alkyl acrylate; and a non-graft copolymer (B) including an alkyl (meth)acrylate, an alkyl-substituted styrene-based compound, and a vinyl cyanide compound, wherein the average particle diameter and refractive index of each layer of the graft copolymer (A) are properly adjusted, a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition, and a molded article manufactured using the thermoplastic resin composition.
According to the present invention, the present invention has an effect of providing a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent transparency, gloss, blackness, weather resistance, heat resistance, and impact resistance, a method of preparing the same, and a molded article manufactured using the same.-

摘要: This organic fine particle can adhere, in the form of a particle, to a substrate, and exhibits water repellency on the substrate when adhering to the substrate. Provided is an organic fine particle containing: (1) a hydrophobic monomer which has one ethylenically unsaturated double bond and at least one hydrocarbon group having 3-40 carbon atoms; or (2) a polymer which has a repeating unit formed from a (meth)acrylic monomer having a polydimethylsiloxane group. The organic fine particle can impart excellent water repellency to a substrate.

摘要: Provided is a method of preparing a polymer including: supplying a monomer stream and a solvent stream to a reactor and performing a polymerization reaction to prepare a reaction product; supplying a reactor discharge stream to a volatilization device, separating a polymer from a lower portion of the volatilization device, splitting an upper discharge stream including an unreacted monomer, a solvent, and an inert gas into two or more streams, and divisionally supplying the split streams to a plurality of condensers, respectively; condensing and separating the unreacted monomer and the solvent in each of the condensers and supplying a gaseous stream therefrom to a condenser installed at a rear end of each condenser; and supplying a gaseous stream discharged from a condenser installed at the rearmost end to a vacuum unit.
