    摘要: The high efficiency and fidelity of click chemistry permits a large number of diverse dendrimers encompassing a wide variety of functionalities at the chain ends, repeat units, and/or core to be prepared. Almost quantitative yields were obtained during the synthesis. In some cases, filtration or solvent extraction was the only method required for purification. These features represent a significant advancement in dendrimer chemistry and demonstrate an evolving synergy between organic chemistry and functional materials.

    摘要: This invention discloses a class of soluble poly(arylene-oxadiazole) polymers and copolymers comprising from 3 to 300 repeat units, which may be the same or different, represented by the formula: (I) wherein Arom can be a fluorene group, an aromatic hydrocarbon ring, an aromatic C2+ heterocyclic ring, or two aromatic rings linked by a single bond, ethenyl bond, or ethynyl bond. A process for preparing the polymers and copolymers by reacting dicarboxylic acids and hydrazine salt is provided. The polymers are useful in electroluminescent devices, photovoltaic cells, and diodes.

    摘要: Block copolymers may contain polybenzazole blocks and blocks of polybenzoxazinone polymer or polyoxadiazole polymer. The block copolymers may be coagulated from isotropic dopes to form shaped articles or granular compositions. The granular compositions may be compression molded to form molded articles. The block copolymers may be molded at high temperatures without substantial phase separation, and the polybenzazole polymer provides support to improve the tensile propoerties of the polymer.
