摘要: A layered body (10) includes: a substrate (11); and an oxide portion (13) positioned on the substrate (11). An oxide that constitutes the oxide portion (13) contains at least two or more rare-earth elements: silicon; and oxygen. The oxide that is conatined in the oxide portion (13) exhibits a diffraction peak derived from a (004) plane at a position of 2θ = 51.9° ± 0.9° in an X-ray diffraction pattern, and has an apatite crystal structure. The ratio of linear expansion coefficient of the oxide that constitutes the oxide portion (13) in an a-axis direction relative to linear expansion coefficient of the substrate (11) is 0.15 or more and 1.45 or less.

摘要: The present invention concerns methods and system for growing Ti 1-x M x O 2-y fibres, wherein M is a transition metal from group 5 of the Periodic Table, with 0.1 1-x M x O 2-y fibres having improved thermoelectric properties.
The LFZ technique allows the application of various reducing atmospheres in a range of relative pressures such as from 0.1 to 1.5 × 10 5 Pa. The system includes a growth chamber, an atmosphere control subsystem, a continuous laser beam, and an optical apparatus to focus the laser beam.
The present invention is useful for producing said Ti 1-x M x O 2-y -based fibres with high thermoelectric properties, due to the combination of a reducing atmosphere with the growth conditions, which is of interest mainly in the field of thermoelectric applications.-
