    摘要: A disconnect mechanism to disconnect an electric machine from an ancillary component includes a ramp shaft (34) connected to a disconnect shaft (28) of the electric machine, and connected to the ancillary component, such that when connected to the ancillary component the disconnect shaft (28) transmits rotational energy between the electric motor and the ancillary component. The ramp shaft (34) includes a disconnect feature. A plunger (48) is selectably engageable with the disconnect feature to disconnect the ramp shaft (34) from the disconnect shaft (28). The disconnect feature includes a drop-in window (54) for initial engagement with the plunger (48), and a ramp surface (60) extending in a circumferential direction from the drop in window (54) at an acute angle relative to the drop in window (54). Engagement of the plunger (48) with the ramp surface (60) urges movement of the ramp shaft (34) in an axial direction away from the disconnect shaft (28) to disconnect the ramp shaft (34) from the disconnect shaft (28).

The negative torque transmission mechanism or the negative torque transmission member can transmit torque in the reverse rotation direction. In the power transmission device, fatigue of materials of the connection section is suppressed and torque is accurately interrupted at a desired interruption torque value.

    摘要: The present invention provides a torque transmission device for a compressor, which prevents parts constituting the torque transmission device from disengaging when a torque limiter is engaged, minimizes the occurrence of foreign matter entry through elongated holes between breakage portions prior to torque limiter engagement and also through a gap formed at the breakage portions after the torque limiter engagement and reduces the occurrence of noise at the time of torque limiter engagement. The torque transmission device comprises a pulley 2, a hub unit 3, a first disk unit 4 and a second disk unit 5. Breakage portions 20, over which breakage occurs when the transmission torque received at the pulley 2 becomes equal to or greater than a predetermined level, are formed at the first disk unit 4. The breakage portions 20 are set in relative proximity to a drive shaft 12. The end of the second disk unit 20 toward the drive shaft is set closer to the drive shaft 12 than the breakage portions 20, and the second disk unit 5 includes recessed portions 13 ranging from an area around a pass whole 9 at which the hub unit 3 is inserted toward an area of the second disk unit that faces opposite the breakage portions 20.

    摘要: A torque-limiting coupling device comprises two coaxial, essentially cylindrical co-acting surface (12, 22) on two co-acting parts (10, 20) in the form of a cylindrical sleeve (20) and a cylindrical shaft (10) respectively. The sleeve and the shaft are in radially tensioned frictional engagement for transferring torque up to a torque limit that corresponds to the radial tension and at which the sleeve begins to rotate relative to the shaft. The device also includes at least one pump means (3) which is adapted to be driven to pump liquid from a liquid store to a gap (B) between the co-acting surfaces (12, 22) upon relative rotation between the sleeve and the shaft. Means (8) are provided for leading liquid away from the gap (8) so as to re-establish said frictional grip subsequent to the occurrence of relative rotation between said parts. One part (10) has a base which includes a surface layer (50) that defines one (12) of the co-acting surfaces and that is comprised of a material, e.g. tombak, whose plasticizing limit is considerably lower than the plasticizing limit of the material in the co-acting surface of the other part (20). The surface layer (50) includes cavities which enable the surface layer (50) to take a smaller radial thickness after plasticization to enable the parts (10, 20) to be relieved of radial load.
