    摘要: This application provides a differential oscillator. The differential oscillator includes: a power line, disposed on a chip; a ground line, disposed on the chip and parallel to the power line; a main resonant circuit, disposed on the chip and including a first inductor and a second inductor that are connected in parallel, where the first inductor and the second inductor are disposed on a side that is of the power line and that is far away from the ground line, and the main resonant circuit is connected to the power line; and a tail resonant circuit, disposed on the chip and connected to the main resonant circuit and the ground line. Inductors in the oscillator are disposed on two sides of the power line and the ground line. This ensures that both the power line and the ground line are a virtual "ground", and reduces a phase noise of the oscillator.

    摘要: A voltage-controlled oscillator (600) including an active oscillator circuit (610), an inductor, and capacitive circuits is disclosed. The capacitive circuits are selectively turned on and off to control the frequency of the voltage-controlled oscillator (600). Particularly, the inductor and the capacitors in the capacitive circuits form LC circuits that provide feedback to the active oscillator circuit (610). To avoid damage to the switches in the capacitive circuits, the capacitive circuits further comprise resistors (622). The resistors can be configured in several different ways so that the voltage-controlled oscillator (600) can have a high degree of reliability, and a wide tuning range with constant phase noise performance.

    摘要: A device for use as a self-oscillating Class D transmitter is disclosed which uses feedback to maintain the oscillation at the resonant frequency of the device, thereby optimizing the efficiency of operation and overcoming the frequency mismatching inherent in previously known transmitters. The device uses a series LC combination which is driven by a comparator and a tri-state logic driver, with a feedback loop using a differentiator used to switch the polarity of the square wave generator. The system thus self-oscillates at the resonant frequency of the capacitor and inductor, even when the inductance of the inductor is varied by the inductor coming into close proximity to another inductor.
