The ECU100 comprises a detection circuit that detects the state of an engine 510 and the battery 200 serving as a supply source of an electric power, a watthour detecting circuit that detects the watthour required for the specially-equipped vehicle; and a decision circuit that decides a destination of an electric power from a supply source while supplying of the electric power to the auxiliary working machine 400 is preferred than to the motor generator 550, based on the state of supply source and the required watthour. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal storage system controlling a pump for thermal storage on the basis of a flow rate in a warm-up stroke of an internal combustion engine.
SOLUTION: This thermal storage system controls the power supply to the pump for thermal storage to adjust a present flow rate to a target flow rate. By controlling the pump for thermal storage on the basis of the flow rate, the stable warm-up stroke can be realized by absorbing the influence due to the individual variation of the pump and a piping system, and the change of properties with time. When the warm-up is completed, a value of electric power in completion is recorded as a present learning value. The present learning value is utilized as the initial applied power in the next warm-up stroke.

SOLUTION: The heat storage system operates a warm-up pump 18 in a warm-up stroke and does not operate it in a heat storage stroke. Alternatively, in the heat storage stroke, a heater pump 15 is operated to accelerate the collection of hot water. The collection of the hot water can also be accelerated by increasing the rotating number of a circulation pump 3. Since a great load is exerted on the warm-up pump 18 during warm-up stroke, the heat storage stroke is executed by another pump, whereby the operating frequency of the warm-up pump 18 is reduced and the life of the warm-up pump 18 is elongated.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starting device for an internal combustion engine, suppressing the occurrence of great vibration in the internal combustion engine following wastefully increased pressure in a combustion chamber getting into the first compression stroke after starting the engine in a warm-up completed condition.
SOLUTION: At starting the engine in the warm-up completed condition, torque to be granted to a crankshaft 9 for cranking is lowered in a certain period from starting the engine to arriving at the top dead center of the compression stroke. Thus, the torque to be granted to the crankshaft 9 is set to be such a value that the rotation of the crankshaft 9 is stopped in the certain period to make an engine speed into zero. When the rotation of the crankshaft 9 is stopped, a time required for releasing a preset amount of gas from the combustion chamber 2 being in the first compression stroke after starting the engine is accurately kept in the period and pressure in the combustion chamber 2 is lowered. Consequently, there is no wastefully increased pressure in the combustion chamber 2 after resuming the cranking.
