    摘要: PURPOSE:To efficiently remove non-reacted epichlorohydrin and by-produced chlorine compounds without lowering the recovery rate of the purified products, by subjecting crude glycidyl (meth)acrylate to a stripping treatment under a specific condition and subsequently distilling the treated product. CONSTITUTION:Crude glycidyl (meth)acrylate containing non-reacted epichlorohydrin and by-produced chlorine compounds is bubbled with mixed gases comprising oxygen gas and an inert gas (preferably nitrogen gas) in the presence of a quaternary ammonium salt (preferably tetraethyl ammonium chloride) to strip the epichlorohydrin and the by-produced chlorine compounds, followed by distilling the treated product to provide the objective purified product. The stripping treatment is preferably carried out under a reduced pressure of 2-50mmHg at a temperature which is lower than the boiling point of the solution containing the crude glycidyl (meth)acrylate, etc., and which is higher than the boiling point of the epichlorohydrin.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound in high yield and activity without loss of the raw material caused by the polymerization of glycidol, etc., by carrying out the reaction while dropping a glycidol solution of a catalyst into methyl methacrylate maintained to the reaction temperature. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound is produced by carrying out the reaction while dropping a glycidol solution of a catalyst (preferably potassium acetate) into methyl methacrylate maintained to the reaction temperature. The glycidol solution of the catalyst is preferably cooled to a low temperature to an extent not to cause the precipitation of the catalyst. The glycidol solution of the catalyst is preferably diluted by using methyl methacrylate as the dilution solvent to prevent the lowering of the glycidol concentration.

    摘要: PURPOSE:To industrially and advantageously obtain the subject compound by cyclizing a halohydrin derivative prepared from alcohols, etc., and epihalohydrins, etc., in the presence of a dehydrohalogenating agent, introducing CO2 thereinto, neutralizing a basic compound and removing the residual basic compound using silica and alumina. CONSTITUTION:A halohydrin derivative obtained by addition reaction of a compound selected from alcohols, phenols, carboxylic acids and amines with epihalohydrins and/or halohydrins is cyclized in the presence of a dehydrohalogenating agent [e.g. a basic compound such as an alkali (earth) metal hydroxide]. After completing the cyclizing reaction, carbon dioxide is then introduced into the aforementioned reaction system to neutralize the basic compound. The basic compound remaining in the above-mentioned neutralized substance is subsequently removed with a solid acid consisting essentially of silica and alumina to afford the objective compound.
