    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an adhesive composition hardly causing swelling and peeling- off of a sheet-form wall-decorating material and a tile, and providing a film formed at the joint part and excellent in durability or the like by including a specific emulsion, an extender pigment and a specified hydroxide, and further adding a cross-linking agent thereto. SOLUTION: This adhesive composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. synthetic resin emulsion (expressed in terms of the solid) having =10%, preferably 60-80% gel fraction of the component A. The component A is preferably an acrylic ester-based copolymer emulsion. A material usually used as a filler of a coating material is used as the component B. The component D is preferably a polyamide-epichlorohydrin-based resin or the like.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new adhesive by adding a silanol-modified polyvinyl alcohol and a carboxyl-containing water-soluble polymer to specific inorganic powder, having neither change with time nor limit of pot time, discharging no harmful substances during disposal treatment, capable of providing fibers, etc., with water resistance and heat resistance corresponding to a purpose. SOLUTION: This adhesive comprises an inorganic substance as a main component containing (A) an inorganic filler (preferably clay consisting essentially of kaolinite family mineral or quartz powder) showing pH 3-6.5 measured by a method described in JIS-M8016, (B) a silanol-modified polyvinyl alcohol and (C) a carboxyl-containing water-soluble polymer compound (e.g. polymethacrylic acid) as main components. The amount of the component B is 5-20 wt.% and that of the component C is 10-30 wt.% based on the component A. When the objective adhesive is used, in order to prevent stain, etc., of a coater and a drying cylinder, preferably a paraffin wax emulsion in the ratio of 0.1-0.3% based on the total of the components B and D is added to an adhesive solution.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based adhesive which develops adhesiveness within a short time and has excellent initial tack. SOLUTION: This adhesive is obtained by adding at least one member selected from among water-soluble polyvalent-metal compounds [e.g. organic acid salts (e.g. calcium acetate), inorganic acid salts (e.g. iron sulfate and potassium aluminum sulfate) and halides (e.g. calcium chloride)] to an aqueous emulsion containing a carboxylic polymer. The carboxylic polymer may be in the form of emulsified polymer particles or a protective colloid or may be a water-soluble polymer added to an emulsion. The amount of the polyvalent-metal compound used is about 0.001-25 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. carboxylic polymer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an adhesive composition for metal foil composed of a specific polymer compound, a blocked isocyanate resin and an epoxy resin, excellent in storage stability while keeping various characteristics and suitable for laminated sheet for printed-wiring boards, etc. CONSTITUTION:This composition contains (A) 0.5-60 pts.wt. of a polymer compound containing a carboxylic acid, 10-40 pts.wt. of (B) a blocked isocyanate resin and (C) 5-50 pts.wt. of an epoxy resin.
