PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for enhancing enzymatic activity of glucose dehydrogenase and/or diaphorase and improving efficiency of these oxidase reactions, especially an enzymatic reaction technique to increase output of a biofuel cell.SOLUTION: Efficiency of enzymatic reactions to use glucose dehydrogenase and/or diaphorase can be remarkably improved by adding a betaine derivative having a specific structure.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for increasing chemiluminescence efficiency or coloring efficiency by increasing enzyme reactivity in an enzyme reaction by which a chemiluminescent substrate or a chromogenic substrate is made to cause chemiluminescence or color.SOLUTION: In an enzyme reaction by which a chemiluminescent substrate or a chromogenic substrate is made to cause chemiluminescence or color, a specific betaine derivative is added to significantly enhance enzyme reactivity and increase chemiluminescence efficiency or coloring efficiency.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition improving enzyme activity simply and effectively, a kit containing the composition and a method for improving the enzyme activity by using the composition. SOLUTION: This composition contains betaine having at least ≥1 set of the zwitter ion of a cation and an anion in its molecule, and includes the betaine having (a) at least ≥1C spacer length between the cation and anion, and/or (b) ≥2C substituent of an ammonium group. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine wiring forming method on metallization (thin film, multilayering and plating) of a resin base for corresponding to minuteness of a circuit constructed on the resin base and simplification of a manufacture process. SOLUTION: Local wettability on a surface of polyimide resin is controlled by using surface reforming by irradiation of an atomic beam using a laser detonation method, and fine wiring is formed. Namely, masking is performed after irradiation (first surface reforming process) of an atomic fluorine beam on the surface of the resin base, and an atomic oxygen beam is irradiated (second surface reforming process). PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of trial times and a burden of an inspector for obtaining a psychological measurement curve by using a simple constitution, in order to able to determine an inspection standard with high effect, accuracy and simply at low cost, and in order to make a visual inspection automated by using the inspection standard, in an inspection standard determining method, an inspection standard determining apparatus and a visual inspecting apparatus. SOLUTION: The inspection standard determining apparatus 1 determines the inspection standard which is used for determining as to whether a defect candidate area of a sample is a defect, by using the appearance feature quantity of the defect candidate area, based on the psychological measurement curve obtained, by digitizing the response of the inspector M to a stimulation consisting of the feature quantity. The psychological measurement curve is obtained by using a staircase method. The inspection standard determining apparatus 1 comprises an image forming means 2, an image presenting means 3; an input means 4, a presentation image determining means 5, a statistical processing means 6, a memory means 7, an external input/output means 8, and a central control means 10. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a logic element which is a simple system using no enzyme reaction and flexible as a logic element using nucleic acid, and further to provide a simple output detecting method using the logic element. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the molecule logic element which includes at least two nucleic acid chains (oligonucleotide) containing arrays for forming a quadruple spiral structure of the nucleic acid by environmental factors, and detects an output by inputting the environmental factors to control balance between the quadruple spiral structure of the nucleic acid chains and a double-chain structure.
