    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a liquid-level detector to a fuel tank as a unitary body with a fuel supply pump without attaching work such as screw tightening. SOLUTION: In this attaching structure, a protruding member 4, a holding piece 8 for holding an attaching surface 3a and a plurality of pawls 10a are provided as the first engaging means at a body 5 of a liquid-level detector, and a groove 6 and receiving parts 10b are provided as the second engaging means at the attaching surface 3a of an attaching member 3. Furthermore, the thickness of the protruding member 4 in the direction of the groove 6 is set so that the width is equal to or slightly larger than the width of the groove 6. The interval between the holding piece 8 and the contact surface is set so that the interval is equal to or slightly smaller than the plate width of the attaching surface 3a. Thereafter, when the protruding member 4 is inserted into the groove 6, the body 5 and the attaching member 3 are elastically coupled and engaged. Thus, the secure attachment is obtained so that looseness, deviation and disengagement can be prevented when large vibration occurs.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel holding tank capable of reducing the quantity of a fuel spouted from a fuel pump and of preventing the outflow of the fuel to the fuel tank, and to provide a fuel feeding device using it. SOLUTION: The tank body 12 upper than a fuel outlet 15 is sealed excluding a negative pressure port 16. Screen meshes 20, 21 and 22 cover a fuel inlet 14, the fuel outlet 15 and the negative pressure port 16, respectively, and have fine through holes capable of interpenetrating both sides in the film thickness direction in their entire surfaces.     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing for a fuel supply device of an engine of low material cost having excellent sealing performance to gasified fuel and having excellent sealing performance even at a very low temperature. SOLUTION: This packing 10 is formed in two-layer structure comprising an inner layer 13 formed of fluorine-contained elastomer of high cost with excellent gas impermeability, and an outer layer 14 formed of synthetic rubber of low cost with excellent gas impermeability even at the very low temperature. In normal use, the leakage of gasified fuel is effectively prevented by the fluorine-contained elastomer constituting the inner layer 13, and at the very low temperature, the leakage of gasified fuel is prevented by the outer layer 14 formed of synthetic rubber instead of the inner layer 13 formed of the fluorine-contained elastomer slightly lowered in performance. In this packing 10, the high-cost fluorine-contained elastomer is not used for the whole part, so that the large increase of manufacturing cost can be prevented.
